I was a senor in high school when it happened, we had a substitute teacher that morning, he was an older man about mid 50s or later. We started hearing whispers coming in about a crash and he asked us what happened when someone told him a plane hit one of the towers, all he said was "My son works there" then left the room leaving us alone confused until we turned on the TV in the room watching the news until some staff saw we didn't have a teacher. It's one of those moments that haunt me because I never even knew his name or if his son was ok.
