I was a new engineering employee at an NPR station. The director of engineering gave me his credit card and said "go to the mall and buy every TV you can find and then bring them back and hook them up in every room."

It was a weird day. Lot of running cables while people stood around and stared.

Fun fact: the structural integrity is strongest on the screen side, so strong in fact you could bounce it on the screen like a ball and still be ok.
