Hopefully it's that and isn't fencing response. That's when someone holds one arm up, it's a sign of possible severe brain trauma.

In a lot of videos like this people claim definite brain damage only for someone to link an article that says they're released from hospital same day with a mild concussion.

Those aren’t mutually exclusive.

A concussion is going to involve brain damage, the scope of it can vary. But generally speaking it’s a bad thing to get your brain knocked around. One of the biggest issues for brain damage in sports is “sub concussive impacts” like getting jabbed in boxing or hitting a soccer ball with your head. Those small moments add up, because brain injuries take a long time to heal and any further impact makes it exponentially worse.

And sometimes people die from one good hit to the head. It’s not a sure thing.

One of my favorite comedians, Drew Lynch, actually got a concussion from a softball

Hit him in the throat which caused him to collapse and hit his head on the ground ultimately resulting in a concussion,TBI plus a neurogenic stutter

He was trying to become an actor prior but his stutter closed that door so he turned to comedy for therapy

Wound up on AGT, got the Golden Buzzer from Howie on his first go and ultimately placed 2nd in S10

It's not so bad anymore but dude's had it rough

He got lucky on being able to pivot his career path & recover the way he did

He’s a major pussy. It took him one hit to knock the dude out but he kept throwing full force punches at the dude, looked like he was actually trying to kill him. Violent piece of shit, I hope he gets locked up for that because they definitely have a case.
