Yeah, I saw his dad say how his son wouldn't (shouldn't?) stop doing what he loves or something stupid.

While his son was in the hospital after being shot for... doing something that was fucking stupid.

I'm all for supporting my kids but I don't support them blindly, without question; sometimes the best way to support someone is to tell them they did something stupid.
