What problem though? The most important thing is losing studios. And they still have the best single player studios in gaming. While their competition is struggling or relegated to remakes.
My biggest question is always on the gaming side...who was the games and the newest successful IPS?
So answer my question please, what exclusive PS5 games are platform sellers?!
PS4 had God of War, Last of Us, first Spider Man, Bloodborne, the first Horizon.
What does PS5 has? Demon Souls remastered? Ghost of Yotei?
I want to get a PS5 for a while, nothing has convinced me yet. Just being honest here. I'm honestly thinking about getting a Nintendo console, don't get one since N64.
Edit: fanboys dislike my comment but don't answer my very simple question. Typical.
Demon Souls, Ghost of Yotei, Returnal, Saros, Astro Bot, Death Stranding 2, Spiderman 2, Stellar Blade, Helldivers 2, R&C Rift Apart, Nioh 3, Tokon and now Wolverine (I'm halfway through the game and is decent, definitely not IGN's 6).
You want to know why no one e is replying to you? Because we all know we your were baiting out this exact comment.
Those games sold 90% + of those copies on Playstation. And now Sony isn't going to sell these games on PC anymore (outside of multi-player games).
You are way to hung up on the world exclusive. At the end of the day the console sells lot hot cakes and is a far fiscally better way to play said games since PC's are ridiculously expensive to buy (this is coming from someone who has built his own PC since the late 90's)
Doesn't matter is Sony is not putting their exclusives on PC, 90% of the list above are still available on PC. So what is left? Putting Wolverine here is comical.
And consoles are also super cheap?! Right?! Things are not looking good for the whole gaming industry regarding hardware.
But I'm talking about GAMES, CONSOLE selling GAMES. Denying this generation is a lot weaker than the last, when PS6 is already in the discussion, is beyong my understanding.
If your this obtuse and willfully ignorant about "wHaT pS5 hAvE tO OfFeR" then your already to far gone.
There has been nearly the same number of exclusives for the ps gen during ps5 life as it was for ps4. If you want to put up an imaginary wall and say those aren't ps5 games then that's a your problem.
It's going to be the same for every gen going forward because of backwards compatibility. Yall wanted that so this is what you also have to deal with games being made for last gen for a while to. Can't have both
We instinctively all feel the point behind this article as gamers.
Who cares if Sony or Playstation succeeds financially? I don't care.
What I care about is good games that we can play, today, tomorrow, or 5 years from now, and we are in an inflection point in that regard. Decisions that Sony makes today will shape their future. They need to invest in the gamers of tomorrow, not drain the wallets of gamers today.
Now is the time to voice your dissatisfaction with Sony and make them change their course. Or, say nothing, get your access to games offline be removed, and be drained of your money as a result. The choice is yours.
edit: I don't understand the downvotes at all. Do you want people to make better games, or do you prefer to express your dislike that IGN published an article with a contrarian point? Makes no sense if the gaming ecosystem is important to you. Replies welcome.
No its because your delusional just like this click bait journalist with this article. It's 1 mid single player game compared to the rest of their single player lineup which has been great this gen
Why do people love putting up an imaginary wall and not enjoying the great titlws just because they also came out on ps4. They are games made by Sony studios for Sony consoles.
Everything has risen in price are you going to blame Sony for memory prices as well? Even with that they are about to sell over 100 million consoles for the 4th time.

I understand people are upvoting this because they don’t like Sony. All good. But as far as this article goes, this is trashy clickbait journalism.
