Honestly PlayStation went downhill ever since they moved to California. That’s when they shifted to its current model. All the best memories people had of PS was back in the PS1- first half of the PS4 era. Remember that time when they made that ad against Xbox and physical discs? That was when they were still in Japan since Japan loves physical media still.
This is nonsense. Moving to California was a symptom, not the cause.
Few games sold over 20 million copies before the 2000s, and that number has shot up dramatically since. This is due to a lot of outside money with their own standards and agendas. Not all of it is from California.
Just wait until Saudi Arabia continues to buy up companies.
