100 players peak is probably still in like the top 10% of indie games, numbers-wise.

Many don't realize, but 100 peak players means you can live decent life in 3rd world country for a couple of years.

What is your estimate on earnings in USD? I’m ignorant.

In many places you can live alright without luxury on $300-500 a month. I'm talking modern comfortable cities, not shacks.

A game with 100 peak players may bring you at the very least $15k, but heavily depends on genre and pricing. I know people with like 90 peak players and their game earned 100k+ lifetime.

Youre not making 15k from 100 peak players

Especially not with the cut that steam takes

Well even indie games follow the 80/20 rule. The good stuff will have a lot of players and the bad stuff will be quickly dropped. For every Silksong and Factorio there will be 5 knockoffs, pixel graphics or hornybait games.

That’s funny because some of the best indie games of all time used pixel art.
