trotskyist revolution and how I believe it could be integral to cascadian secession

alright I'm going to put this in simple terms, because I'm high and using voice to text to write this. of Leon trotsky's personal theory I can point out three main things that I think would be very applicable to cascadian secession and it's eventual success.

while his idea of permanent revolution and socialist globalism may clash with the more nationalistic stance of an independent cascadia, they aren't mutually exclusive and a vanguard party in collaboration with this would most definitely come about to help cascadia become independent if a workers revolution were to happen within its borders. in the far future of course, due to trotsky's inherent belief that there should be socialism in all neighboring Nations if not all nations eventually, the vanguard party would have to start working for workers revolution in other nations surrounding cascadia assuming that Independence comes about by secession or balkanization as opposed to simply America not existing and a cascadian government being created newly.

as for why I believe cascadia itself is more apt to a worker's revolution, I very much need to point out the fact that there is many examples of big industries in the big 3 cities; meaning that there would be way more people exposed to the evils of capitalism and how it has affected their lives

in the future when there are all neighboring socialist countries, I feel like a lot of people want to point out that cascadia may not be independent anymore, but I do believe that there could be independent governments of socialist nations under alliances like NATO and BRICS

Palouse River Watershed

New map of the Palouse River Watershed.

I'll admit, even having grown up in Spokane and having visited Pullman and Moscow and other parts of the Palouse hundreds of times, I never really had a concept of the Palouse Watershed as a distinct subregion of Cascadia.

I hope others also find it satisfying to see so clearly.

I become extremely uncomfortable when I'm not within at least a 4 minute walk of a forest

even small ones, just in general I think a lot of cascadian secessionists regardless of political or economic belief should want forests and cities to overlap, urban sprawl is horrifying.

its not even a want to be outside all the time, if anything I spend most of my time inside. its just the presence, I feel like if there's no flora nearby it's a horrible place.

My take on a Cascadian flag

Post image

Not necessarily a final draft, but this is my concept for what a Cascadian flag should be with the main 18 volcanoes in the range. The Doug isn’t bad per say, but I’ve just always felt our flag should actually reference…the Cascades

Reading “always coming home” by Ursula K. LeGuin and thinking of a future Cascadia community

I’m not asking anybody to read the book, but the Kesh live within their future Napa Valley community as equals with all life there and humbly within the environment. Something to think about.

Hopefully, you can read the quotes as an example. Reading the book, of course, would be better.

Thinking about the future when you can’t see it is difficult.

Update on "I want to give biologists the power to define habitats:" The website has been updated and now biologists can edit habitats. If you want to define what Cascadia looks and means, please get your residence and diploma certified by the website and begin defining our region!

This is a website where biologists define habitats and neighborhoods, and residents vote on the laws that apply to those regions. Please join even if you are not a biologist, and vote on the laws in your own habitat!

How was the Cascadia region defined?

I recently started learning about bioregions and i believe they can be a foundation for broad societal change. Cascadia especially inspired me as it seems like one of the most defined examples of bioregionalism.

I want to do the same thing in my home region of Pannonia (Today known as Carphatian Basin).

Do you have any advice on how I should go about defining the bioregional borders of a supposed Pannonia? How was the process with Cascadia? What was the basis for its borders?

I want to give biologists the power to define political borders based on habitat. Can a biologist help me test out my political decision-making website by getting verified on it?

Hi, I'm designing a website where biologists can delineate the borders of habitats that determine where residents get to vote on issues relevant to their home habitat. I am at the stage where I need to test out the verification process for biologists empowered to vote on where borders of habitats should be. Can an accredited biologist please sign up to the website and go through the verification process for me? It requires that you link two images of your certificates. Thank you!

This is related to Cascadia because this website will help make Cascadia, a habitat region, a reality.
