CRITIQUE Justice league dark Apocalypse war was not a good movie
I watched this expecting one of the best DC animated movies, I’ve seen the rest of the universe, but I hadn’t seen this film so I decided to watch it, it was not good. Why do people like it? it doesn’t even feel like the DC that I love.

DISCUSSION Supergirl is the number 1 movie on HBO max in over 20 countries right now
Now that the whole hate wagon passed and it’s out of cinemas, what are your honest thoughts on it? Personally I liked it, not a masterpiece but not a bad movie either.

DISCUSSION Who should be the first villain for Wonder Woman to face in her first DCU film?
My vote is either Cheetah or Giganta off these comics alone.
Cheetah one is by tom king's run.
Giganta one is from Wonder Woman 2006 issue 36.
I think either villain could have a fun rivalry with Diana if they do em justice.

DISCUSSION The more I watch dc animated shows and movies the more I enjoy superman, flash and green lantern. Was never a huge fan of them
But since watching the shows and movies there growing on me. I wonder if aquaman will. I am looking at maybe purchasing the geoff Johns aquaman as his graphic novels are great so maybe I’ll also like aquaman more after that maybe. What got you into these characters I’ve mentioned?

DISCUSSION Batman Forever: The Non Sequel-Sequel
I rewatched Batman Forever last night out of curiosity as it's occasionally referred to as over-hated, so I thought I'd give it another try. My feelings remained much the same, some nice visuals at times, lots of terrible dialogue and generally overshadowed by Carrey's set chewing performance.
It's not just a poor film but it's a very odd type of sequel.
On one hand it considers itself a sequel, Tim Burton is a producer and it has Michael Gough and Pat Hingle return their roles.
On the other, new director, new script writers, new composer and with the exceptions of the above actors, a new cast.
At what point is a sequel no longer really a sequel? I'm sure the studio would argue it's a continuation of the story but if you treated it as stand alone film what would actually change?
I understand the reasons for the changes in tone and cast, but calling it a sequel feels like a stretch and bit a of a disservice to both films.
