I grew up in view of this lake. A beautiful spot, wonderful for boating and fishing. It hosted the US national water skiing championships one year in the 1960s. It's about 55 miles from Boston, and about 5 miles from the trijunction of MA, CT and RI. Lots of great memories. And yes, I can say its name lightning fast, and can also easily spell it!
