the worst thing is that all of those are based on accidents that happened

u/Unopposed_Weirdo 38m ago

Yup, common phrase is 'Safety Policies Are Written In Blood'

22

u/UseNo75 30m ago

It’s insane how machines can get out of control and go from a chill day to disaster really fast

6

u/Nocturnatron 20m ago

Its not even the machine getting out of control, its just a lack of awareness of the worker's part

u/UseNo75 7m ago

Absolutely, the situation gets out of control.

u/SushiRollFried 23m ago

I remember seeing the 3rd incident on facebook randomly as a kid. One second he was there screaming the next... he completely evaporated into small bits that look almost like splash of liquid everywhere and only the clothes remained spinning endlessly till someone hit the big red button. Everyone was stood in silence for what felt like eternity.

IIRC the most famous one you're likely refering to happened in Russia. The first guy tried to help but once he started getting showered by mincemeat he threw his arms into the air as if to say "Oh well, not much I can do now" before running away (understandable tbh).

u/RavenEridan 0m ago

Funny how women never work these dangerous labor jobs due to privilege

14

u/JeromeBarkly 24m ago

The first clip happened at my friends work. His brother and the boss’s son were pushing a bunch of glass panels and were fucking around. It started to tilt over and the boss’s son tried to stop it. Tipped over on top of him killing him instantly. My friends brother got let go because the boss couldn’t look at him after it happened. He was a top tier dumbass and it ended up getting someone killed.

After 5 deaths at an intersection in my town, they finally put up a traffic light.

u/Zogg44 5m ago

You can't rush these things.

26

u/Skellyhell2 33m ago

I've seen the real videos for a few of them

5

u/NotAHost 30m ago

Yup these were all over wpd back in the day.

u/mizinamo 7m ago

What's "wpd"?

u/rainman_95 0m ago

Watch people die

1

u/KIDNEYST0NEZ 31m ago

I saw the mine cart one

u/SpungleMcFudgely 9m ago

Yeah that guy putting his hands on the side of his head in shock and exasperation after seeing his coworker, I remember that one

8

u/QuietGanache 27m ago

Staplerfahrer Klaus had to be toned down from the real events it was based on.

3

u/Fleshsuitpilot 11m ago

Is that the one where the guy had a chainsaw arm? Lmao and the two guys stick to the forks? 😂😂

3

u/QuietGanache 10m ago

That's the one.

5

u/Getitgotitgoodgod 18m ago

This is exactly what I was gonna say. They never put it in the video unless it’s already happened…

4

u/Punk_Luv 14m ago

Yep, saw lots of these on eyeblech before that sub was removed.

3

u/Arik_De_Frasia 21m ago

I feel like the 3d animated ones come off too whimsical

2

u/External-Ad2215 27m ago

This is exactly what i was going to say i swear to god 😭🤣

3

u/DutchDreadnaught1980 10m ago

the worst thing is that all of those are based on accidents that happened

Indeed, i've seen most of these happen in non-cg vids with actual.... splatter.

1

u/PhotoBN1 21m ago

I've seen most of them

1

u/reflect-the-sun 16m ago

And there are so many of these videos.

One dude has created an entire insta following by dubbing comments over the top of them.

1

u/cbih 10m ago

There should be a whole series of these for every preventable injury or death

1

u/PFCCThrowayay 10m ago

Yeah it was funny at first until I realized the same thing as they were very specific 😖

u/ExtremlyFastLinoone 7m ago

I saw the actual live leak video of the dude who got spun in the centrifuge, its so graphic, you can see flesh flying off him as hes spun at like 1000 rpm

u/Oops_All_Bans 0m ago

Yea I've definitely seen some of the exact videos these were based on. Gnarly shit.

80

u/ni_hao_butches 35m ago

The lathe spin....one of the worst videos I've seen. Woof

28

u/pmaogeaoaporm 27m ago

And they spared a lot of detail in the vid too.. Still very much ugh

4

u/ILIKECHEZDUDE 11m ago

Holy shit that was actually disgusting

7

u/gamutsl 18m ago

The photos were worse, the body looked like one of those tubes of pillsbury biscuits after you bust em open

u/cbih 7m ago

I don't think there's video, but check out the Byford Dolphin accident

55

u/LowerBed5334 37m ago

Since this Chinese safety animation is making the rounds, we're compelled to share the German version, which takes it to another level:

Forklift Driver Klaus

Prost, Klaus! 🍻🇩🇪

8

u/CanoegunGoeff 13m ago

Well that fucking escalated

2

u/WaitWaWhat 10m ago

Came here to post this but checked first! It's the best!

u/Plasticman4Life 4m ago

Ahhh, the classics!

u/caraderana95 1m ago

Great horror movie

-14

u/sgunb 27m ago

Even if it is culturally important, you should label it for being disturbing content.

7

u/froggz01 12m ago

He literally stated “IT TAKES IT TO ANOTHER LEVEL”.

3

u/Bella_HeroOfTheHorn 11m ago

I read your comment before watching and I couldn't get past the guy warming up the forklift, it was like watching a scene from Final Destination and my own sense of suspense became unbearable 🤣

u/musicjacker 2m ago

You think that was disturbing 😂 softer than charmin.

65

u/dhenis1 42m ago

If I didn't work in an office, I'd probably be a victim like in the video. I'm very clumsy when it comes to manual labor.

30

u/itsavibe- 27m ago

Some of these are just really bad luck…

Like the guy getting nailed in the head from a flying log

17

u/froggz01 20m ago

The point of these videos is that most are preventable. Should have been wearing a hard hat. Work area needs to constantly be tidied up to prevent stuff like this happening.

14

u/brooksj2 30m ago

Scary part is that everything illustrated has happened to someone. I once got the privilege to see a person get popped like a grape by an industrial forklift on a training video!

27

u/ot_sauce 39m ago

The one with the pinched log happened recently on reddit

4

u/justin_memer 33m ago

Not recently, but there's a video of it happening. I think it's also a piece of metal in the video I saw.

10

u/Moosplauze 36m ago

Someone got killed by a reddit log?

3

u/_-Broken-Swagger-_ 26m ago

What rolls downstairs, alone or in pairs?

1

u/Aggressive_Guest1758 21m ago

And over the neighbors dog?

3

u/_-Broken-Swagger-_ 17m ago

What’s great for a snack, and fits on your back?

1

u/Ibe121 16m ago

What's great for a snack, and fits on your back?

1

u/Professional_Poops 33m ago

Like a log of poop!?!?!

1

u/hatmadeofass 31m ago

From a butt?

3

u/00_bob_bobson_00 27m ago

No knife at hand

1

u/PFCCThrowayay 11m ago

Vintage 🤌🏻

u/cbih 6m ago

No, it happened in China

1

u/ReleaseTheHounds69 33m ago

Is the pinched log in the room with us right now?

0

u/greenrangerguy 32m ago

Ironic as I'm pinching a log while watching this

8

u/Mad_f0x 31m ago

Ive seen the real video of Num. 3... its something that lives in my head and i cant get it out.

6

u/salazka 30m ago

Yup. Spot on.
Happy animals telling you to wear your helmet are inefficient.

11

u/Moosplauze 37m ago

This is hard to watch for anyone who had to deal with workplace accidents because it's so real - not the graphics but the accidents themselves. Luckily we don't get closeups of the injuries in the video.

5

u/onico 32m ago

Gabelstaplerfahrer Klaus can relate to this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CDnOSW8cHjE

5

u/hextasy 23m ago

The sad part is that these are based on actual incidents

u/cbih 6m ago

People need to learn from others' mistakes

8

u/sTump4139 34m ago

My favorite part was the guy getting beamed in the head with the rock from across the lot

1

u/avofrodo 15m ago

Yeah like what are the odds? Seems like the universe wanted him dead specifically

4

u/EvilLittleMonkey 28m ago

I’m sure these are all animated versions of real accidents

3

u/oninokamin 34m ago

Number 2, with the L-rack of glass plates, actually happened at my workplace in 2007.

3

u/ThatThingInTheWoods 32m ago

The final destination of workplace safety.

3

u/Nocturnatron 21m ago

I've seen every one of these non-animated, all very real

1

u/sleepy_potatoe_ 15m ago

Just missing that live leaks logo.

u/Nocturnatron 9m ago

They should call those ones unalive leaks

3

u/DistantRug22 14m ago

Goreless gore

3

u/SWITCHFADE_Music 11m ago

They don't sugar coat their safety training. I went to a new nuclear plant build for work and during the safety training module, they had photos of mangled hands/feet and a lifeless body on the ground. Shit was metal AF.

2

u/HomeLanderorg 31m ago

Damn Final destination scripts getting leaked

2

u/Dismal_Ad_6134 30m ago

It reminds me of the one were the guy gets stuck in package strapping and then the guy helping does too. Except that one makes me laugh.

2

u/BigRedWhopperButton 25m ago

🎸Shake hands with danger...

2

u/Waitsjunkie 19m ago

The first thing that came to my mind. Why wouldn't they listen?

2

u/seamus_mcfly86 10m ago

Can I get this game on Steam?

u/GT-Daddy89 5m ago

We are just sacks of meat at the end of the day. Man these are gnarly.

u/indubadiblyy 3m ago

I think these are actual videos where they just changed to animation

u/Dragonfire555 3m ago

I'm certain that all of these actually happened.

3

u/iTryCombs 38m ago

I've seen a lot of the videos these were based on. Like the edge of the tire launching a rock at the guys head is so specific and the angles and distances were the exact same.

3

u/Urb4n0ninj4 31m ago

Final destination type shit. Or the lathe accidents, goddamn so many lathe accident videos the end in pink mist I dony even get near them in shops, let alone operate them.

2

u/JohnathanSinwell 27m ago

Me too, and that’s when I decided I was done with meta platforms. It would be a gooner video immediately followed by death and then straight back to boobs. I knew it wasn’t good for my brain.

2

u/thewayout-is-through 34m ago

This really needs the Benny Hill theme.

3

u/Responsible-Row7026 42m ago

Thats straight out of the good old Russian lathe accident video

1

u/Cataphract1014 34m ago

OHSA courses are very similar but they don't show like graphic fingers getting cut off and shit. They will some times have pictures of the aftermath of some incidents or even the injuries though.

1

u/sTump4139 34m ago

The sound effects took me out

1

u/SecretAmeriKing 31m ago

How do you avoid the tractor tire and log accident!?

2

u/shadowthehh 21m ago

Hard hat.

1

u/CtrlPwnDelete 30m ago

The Corridor Digital youtube video about this was great, they made their own versions of these workplace safety videos and they were hilarious

1

u/al2o3cr 30m ago

與危險握手 🎶

1

u/Kayttajatili 30m ago

Forklift Driver Klaus is way better.

1

u/anayalator39 30m ago

Chinese final destination part 1

1

u/gellshayngel 28m ago

Final Destination: Straight out of Wuhan

1

u/Glowing_bubba 27m ago

lol they buried Hong

“Where’s Hong did he go home?”

1

u/Moist_Explorer3249 27m ago

Lesson: don't work, ever

1

u/ResurrectedBrain 26m ago

The actual Russian lathe accident is much worse than this video

1

u/HojoExperiment 26m ago

I've seen like half of these back when r/watchpeopledie was a thing.

1

u/fourth-disciple 26m ago

Why the Mike Myers music?😂

1

u/MorningMushroomcloud 25m ago

Looks like someone needs a "Union"

0

u/KevinTheCarver 24m ago

It’s a communist country. In theory, all the workers in the country are in a union.

1

u/TheChillestOfRacoons 25m ago

We can all agree that God just wanted, the dude who got hit in the head with the log, dead, right...

1

u/Aggressive_Finish798 24m ago

Final Destination: China

1

u/cbj2112 24m ago

It’s like a Darwin Award best of

1

u/ieraaa 23m ago

No. nono. These all happened exactly like that and are turned into 3D ... These happened

1

u/WasteBinStuff 23m ago

Thats pretty direct. But there's something very conspicuously missing that might really help put the point on it.

1

u/T0wn_Guard 22m ago

Get these men a root beer.

1

u/eighty_7 19m ago

High Impact Hand safety is a must watch

1

u/shapu 18m ago

Every one of these is real, and many of them are their own individual videos on the internet

1

u/Magooose 12m ago

The very first one with the glass. This exact accident happened at work, he survived but spent a week in the hospital with four broken ribs.

1

u/Confident_Cheetah_13 15m ago

I've been to a forensic pathologist lab and I've seen some of these injuries first hand. A person can literally turn flat from some of these.

1

u/zeus-indy 13m ago

This is at about 0.25 to 0.1 speed for many of these accidents. They occur faster than human reaction time

1

u/toy-maker 13m ago

🎵 Dumb ways to diiieee, so many dumb ways to die 🎵

1

u/Icy-Decision-4530 12m ago

A guy I knew worked for his dads landscaping and plowing company and he parked a plow and went in back to check to make sure the salt feeder was working right, he stuck his hand in the feeder and triggered the device which grabbed his jacket arm and pulled him in, pulled it tight and choked him out. His dad found him 10 minutes later when he didn’t come in and it was too late

1

u/Keepupthegood 11m ago

This must have really happened.

u/External-Ad4873 9m ago

You know some of those are dead!

u/scorpious 7m ago

Probably a bit more effective than just showing it done safely. I wonder if they include photos/clips of the actual accidents.

u/Jappie_nl 7m ago

Chinese workplaces are very unsafe and their colleagues kill you. TLDR of this video

u/ZeTreasureBoblin 7m ago

ROOT BEEEER! Noooo, root beer...

u/Practical_Form_1705 5m ago

this is very good

u/mizinamo 5m ago

Aber Klaus!

u/chuster312 5m ago

Reminds me of the TV show 1000 Ways to Die that used to play on Spike TV

u/Sardo_D 1m ago

If you just remember to wear the right flip flops, you'll be okay

u/camz_47 1m ago

They missed the rebar ones 😱

1

u/Dz210Legend 38m ago

58sec mark headshot 😂

1

u/BrendansXbox 31m ago

I seen scenario 2 on r/watchpeopledie. It went on for 10 minutes. Nobody came to help. He was alive and screaming for the first 3 minutes. By the end of the video, the guy was just a grease stain on the floor.

1

u/spawn77x99 39m ago

This video starts with... "Would you be here, tomorrow?"

0

u/Mobile-Leg8612 38m ago

Me when I hit the tree stump of instant momentum

0

u/rootIsGood 36m ago

I think, this video will put more fear in workers brains

-1

u/rust-e-apples1 40m ago

Way more of these are "got away with a missing appendage" than I'm used to from these videos.

-1

u/GreedyMMA 40m ago

Anyone else remember the video of the second incident but with a real human instead of a 3D render? Shit was fucked up

-1

u/UnhelpfulCommentr 39m ago

That's a lot yikes

-1

u/Grand-penetrator 37m ago

Epic fails compilation

-1

u/Ok-Entrance-290 31m ago

Yeah... this video might actually make the Chinese open their eyes.

-4

u/Goose1235678 40m ago

Idk why I found some of the funny

-4

u/Aware_Cheesecake_519 39m ago

This video is full of characters getting into trouble 🤣
