At a christening today in Lucan and he was used as an example for everyone in the room to strive to ensure the baby never turns out like him. I'm not sure where you live, but that's genuinely not true. One day of visible protesting is great but protests small and large happen across the US all the time. As well as community organization efforts in many communities, particularly against ICE. There's no way to compare the resistance required for a single weekend visit from a fascist versus living in an authoritarian state.
