Buffs and damage are low by 2026 standards. After replacing Bennett with Nicole, he will be an even more visible weak link. If you compare the characters, for example, with the premium squad skirk, then Bennet is bad at synergy and convenience, and Venti is very far behind in terms of damage (mostly) and buffs.

Realistically after Sucrose, Lanyan, Kazuha, and Xianyun every other Anemo support is either hyper specific (Lynette with the different element priority, Venti for hyper-grouping, Faruzan for straight anemo carry) or pretty much just not worth using ever (Sayu :( )

New character leak: Lunaria Darktalon Shadow, she’s the secret twin sister of Nahida, she was sealed away at birth because her power was simply too overwhelming for the world to handle.
While Nahida governs wisdom, Lunaria controls the very fabric of dreams, starlight, and emotions (yes, all three). She has purple hair that mysteriously glows in the dark and eyes that change color depending on her mood.
She wields a never-before-seen element called “Astral Bloom,” which is stronger than any Archon power but she refuses to use it at full strength because she’s afraid of hurting others (and also because it would end every fight immediately).
She’s quiet, cold, and distant… except when she’s secretly kind, playful, and deeply misunderstood.
Likes: staring at the moon, being mysterious, saving people without asking for thanks.
Dislikes: being underestimated (even though she always is), talking about her past, literally everyone who has ever wronged her.
Catchphrase: “You wouldn’t understand… this power is both a blessing… and a curse.”

So an Anemo character from Mondstadt. If her whole purpose is to be a support for Varka, I honestly wish they would've just made Seamus be the playable character over some random little girl. But gacha's gonna gacha, I guess...
And since that rules out a Superconduct support for Sandrone, I guess Superconduct Lohen is back on the table. Or maybe there is a new character in 6.8 that hasn't been revealed yet. Or maybe leakers were just straight-up wrong about Sandrone.
