Should have made it into a really high leotard or something. At least it'd be better looking and more honest than this strange napkin they call a skirt.

Complicated modeling and rigging is barely an excuse when you have as much money as Hoyoverse. Also, see Barbara, Noelle, and Yun Jin. They have no real excuse.
I'm sorry but i hate the top too. I've seen edits of her with a longer skirt but it doesn't help bc the corset part is so.. disproportionately white if that even makes sense
It's the boob pocket design isn't it? It doesn't feel like a top so much as a way to draw folks eyes. 😅 Which is a shame BC I'm sure there's ways to do this with it still looking really nice.
Everything else is great, it's just her front micro-skirt that brings down the rest.
Either the designers really like teeeny tiny skirt in front, or they have data that proves a lot of people really like that fashion choice. Either way, I really hate this design trope.
I have issue with other stuff, like the ears and the hat and the colours... It's all too much. I'm a "less is more" kinda person. This is also why I don't like Tighnari's design. They should have stopped adding stuff to him halfway through designing, there's too much going on. Same for Chasca, imo. And same for Danica except she genuinely looks horrible to me lol
I don't like maid outfits and really would like appropriate clothing for characters who are supposed to be fighters but whatever. I was kind of forced to make my peace with that a while ago in this game lol. I probably ignore the designs more than most players due to that though.
Looks much MUCH better than her 2d counterpart in the og trailer imo. Didn't care about her at all from there, but she looks amazing in game. Went from ez skip to ez pull
I can never take scenes like this seriously. Like they present a disciplined, clearly dress coded organization, in line and on duty. You’d think the ranked leader figures would only have added embellishment, some knots of rank perhaps, but no the camera cuts to them and it’s like
I think that thick ass turtleneck collar Danica has makes the abrupt shortness of her dress look even weirder, idk I find the front view so whack looking lol
I want to be snarky and cynical like this as well, but I think the devs have been much better about this with this archetype in particular. Like I think Chasca and Nefer are the two most recent examples and they have much more than just a gimmick. But maybe that's because I couldn't tell you what their gimmick was so I might be blind to it. It just feels better than Chevreuse with fried food and Raiden with sweets.
Danica's design is all over the place. Her uniform is cumbersome and impractical (what's with the steel gorget large enough to protect 2 necks?), as a maid she looks like she's selling her time by the hour at certain maid clubs (judging by the napkin-sized loin cloth).
The small starched frills pointing upwards and the black puffy sleeves give the illusion of undersized shoulders and that's not even a real apron, it's part of the uniform.
Also, unless she's deathly afraid of vampires, no one's going to cut her throat in when her collarbones are exposed and her chest is unprotected and helpfully framed by metal embelishments.
And if we're talking about maid inspo, Sandrone's hairstyle is tidier, more demure and maid-like than hers.
If her Electro linchpin means she's Yae's future Stellar Conduct replacement, I'm doubly happy I pulled Yae now.
Yeah it does look better ingame imo since she has Navia-type shorts. Still kind of goofy because it looks chopped off but at least she doesn't have the hideous crotch flap with her panties out.
Vesna looks incredible, Danica looks like they were trying to make her incredibly detailed, then suddenly running our of time when designing her lower half
Am I crazy or does Danica’a model look crazy good? I was never one of the people who hated her design, but the entire model and texturing just looks kinda crazy good, even moreso than other pre rendered cutscenes.
WAIT wuttt, this back design slaps. I thought her dress was open in the back and front (+i didnt notice her stockings in the 2d trailer i thought she had bare legs which i hate in hoyo designs like jade from star rail).
She actually looks kinda good asides from the overly short skirt in the front.
She stood out to me in the teaser because of the high collar-looking thing covering her mouth and still does now lol, with her 3d face actually looking better than it did in 2d
The skirt looks chopped in the most literal sense; another victim of horny exec decision-making. It's the only part of her design that looks dumb really, the top part is good imo.
Danica suffers Flins syndrome, top tier design but then the designer had to put 1 tiny little thing (in Flins case his unnatural fake ass attached ponytail) to completely destroy it.
Vesna looks cute, but if Danica becomes a teammate of Sandrone I might bench Sandrone and look for another Snez team to build, I'm not pulling that horrendous design...
it’s actually impossible to get more botched than this. like wtf am i looking at here dude. vesna’s cute, shoulders look a little weird but i love the color palette. danica what the actual hell am i looking at. look at her face then look at her clothes. with yae and lisa you can tell they’re flirty characters so their clothes will be somewhat flirty/seductive as well, but danica from what we’ve seen looks like a no nonsense assassin. how the genuine hell did they get that atrocity on her
