That's pretty much how the fae were originally depicted in any folklore. The "cutesy friendly fairy with butterfly wings" archetype is a Victorian invention. So look for something describing how things were before that.
Amentum Vernum, Vernum means spring and Amentum is some kind of strap used to hold onto weapons and spears, probably swords in Vesna's case, similar to gun slings. So Spring (green?) Sling, probably

Yeah and Vodya is Vesna's BIS and they're gonna carry stellar swirl cause I doubt that many people have c2 Mizuki (also her gameplay is clunky for timed format)
Only need to get her twice off banner tbf, since C2 can just be the free one. Although even then iirc C0(/C1 for free atp) is still not that far behind Sandrone currently.
It's not really comparable to lantern rite. Genshin doesn't celebrate autumn festival every year but lantern rite is. It's probably the biggest Chinese holiday, not to mention it's celebrated outside china too.

I heard that there will be an in-game celebration for the Mid-Autumn festival this year. And Zibai is going to rerun soon but Mid-Autumn festival will probably be too early even though it would be fitting for her to rerun during a moon festival. It’s still not impossible that we have Vesna and Vodyanitsa first half and then Zibai and Linnea second half but I think it’s very very unlikely
I wouldn't say it's a high possibility when it happened once and then never again. If anything, it was the exception, not the rule. People kept trying to predict double debut banners in Nod-Krai too, and it never happened.
Vodyanitsa is clearly intended to be BiS for Vesna.
The problem is that Vodyanitsa is not due to developer incompetence.
EDIT: For the people downvoting, I'm calling Hoyo incompetent for giving the "Cryo-Swirl Support" role to the character whose off-field mechanics fundamentally interferes with Cryo-Swirls from happening in the first place, thus preventing her from being best in slot in the team she's designed for.
The developer got a whole beta exactly to test and change things up.
The whole mentality v1 -> final is so off, even more during stellar era (starting with Sandrone patch) when there’s been a lot several changes all the time.
I certainly hope you're right, but even at this point, it was incredibly foolish to make the BiS support for Cryo-Swirl an element that isn't friendly with Cryo-Swirl the instant an enemy is unfreezable. The devs should know better.
Eh, I find it incredibly annoying how many people want to focus on a hypothetical future version of a character that doesn’t and might not ever exist while avoiding the current reality.
Obviously we all hope for buffs and shouldn’t lose our heads before things are finalized, v1 is super early and things can change a lot, but there’s also no promise of anything getting better and we certainly can’t give our opinion about currently nonexistent buffs either.
And I find it especially annoying when talking about a unit like Vodyanitsa; where there are significantly more issues than just number tweaks, which typically make up the bulk of beta changes.
Her kit as a whole just fundamentally doesn’t make much sense and feels at odds with itself. You can tune her up to overcome the problem, but really she would need an Arlecchino style beta for all the issues to be properly ironed out.
Genshin usually has a terrible history of beta balancing where 90% of characters leave beta mostly the same as they entered it, but I haven't been looking at things closely. I know Sandrone had a lot of changes, but did Odette too?
Sometimes I think that not interacting with leaks and being surprised about upcoming characters might me kind of fun, but then I remember that I'm not a whale and I have to budget my pulls to build meaningful teams, and those thoughts quickly disappear.
yeah but at the moment we know nothing about her and people have already started hating on her based on their assumptions about her. I don't understand how this is going to be profitable, it would make more sense to have Vodyanitsa first who became a fan favorite.

The fact that the commander of the Druzhna is also a goober who drives trains too fast and sneaks lemons into people’s food is so funny. I feel like her and Danica are going to have a really fun dynamic
According to Kuroo the reruns would be Zibai and Linnea but after seeing the 7.1 endgame bosses it seems more possible to be Escoffier/Skirk and Furina? Basically we have no idea. The actual order if it gets leaked it's usually a few days before the livestream.

I mean that's pretty much it. Acting like a kid on a playground doing immature stuff like skipping over dialouge by pretending she's sneezing, etc. Supposedly, from what I could tell from doing my research when it happened it was because he (supposedly) supported a pretty controversial va (Vic Mignogia) but from what I could tell that never actually happened.
Generally acting immature in public instead of just keeping that shit private on her own time.
I already suspected she'd be in the first phase since Full Stop Chan mentioned her first and then Vodyanitsa. Well, unfortunately I'll have to skip her, but I'll have more time to save pulls for my dear Rusalka 🧜🏻♀️🐚
My main target is Vodyanitsa, so while it means I can save 20 or so more pulls for her, that means I can't pull what's left over for Vesna (assuming I even have enough for Vodyanitsa. Odette left me dry).
I've literally never touched Genshin in my life and this post popped up on my feed. When is she out and will I have enough time to get the pulls needed for her and her weapon?
As much as I like Voydanitza, Vesna is one of the characters who caught my eye since the first trailer and I really want an anemo main dps. Had to skip Varka (And I dislike Chasca) so it's kind of a big hole in my repertoire. So I really want her.
Plus if she is first half, it gives me more time to save for the potential tsaritza in 7.2.
I really like Vesna's design and demeanour, she kind of reminds me of the Fairytopia movies I watched as a kid. I don't plan on pulling her for now, but maybe some time in the future.
