They've been pretty regular about dodging 9/11. Feixiao's patch in HSR was released a day early because the natural patch schedule lined up with 9/11. Funnily, it still would have been 9/10 in the US if they had released it normally, but they moved it up anyways.
Abyss sibling does care for mc twin, though. They're just more focused on fixing the aftermath of the calamity, and mc can handle themselves fine. MC's not even chasing them anymore in snezh cause there's bigger things to worry about.

Paimon was with us throughout all these life-endangering events despite her weakness while abyss sibling is too busy trying to rebuild a country that's definitely just going to get nuked again despite their best efforts to care that their sibling has almost died a dozen times already.

I'm not so quick to agree; Dainsleif was conflicted about Rerir because he never knew the truth of what made him turn, and getting all the information dumped on him at once naturally gave him pause. He knows why the other four, Ved included, chose their path. I'm not saying this will make things easy for him to fight his own brother, but Dainsleif said in A Bedtime Story that he loathes being related to him. So I'm more inclined to believe there will be a lot more hostility than Rerir's case, even though I'm all for the angst
I really hope it's angsty as fuck. Because from everything we've seen Ved and Dain had a great relationship before the Cataclysm. I hope Dain isn't just singlemindedly focused on destroying Ved and they actually have conversations.
yeah Dain's hesitation with Rerir wasn't because they used to be close friends, it's because Rerir became a Sinner not out of a desire for more power, but just to try and save his lover.
I wonder how they'll handle Rhine's introduction popup. She's a shade, a sinner, and also a hex... would be funny if they just decide to combine all of it into a single popup lol
I'll assume that at some point all of her pop-ups will show up. It'll probably happen in order depending on which moniker she uses first. Most probably the Shade of Life, unless they use that one for Naberius and the Sinner pop-up for Rhine herself.

Well, that what I though, but after some reflexion, Vodyanitsa's death requiem made Mitya come back alive, so she could play a major role in the fight against Ronova, by keeping us alive / respawning us when Roro decide to unalive us
Lorewise sorta makes sense, Vesna is leading Tsaritsa's army into battle, and Vodya can revive the dead apparenly, so it's reasonable they join the fight
Anniversaries were in .1 until the calendar couldn't make it in 5.0. The fact Song of Welkin Moon was one patch short put the schedule back on track and I think it was a deliberate decision. Anniversary with major region release was always a bit overwhelming
I know some people who take time off and shit from work for Genshin livesteam/patch release day so maybe they tried to be early this time so that people know not to do that for Friday this time.

I’m considering it too. Reminds me of when I decided to skip the 4.2 livestream, best decision I ever made because the Hydro Archon’s death verdict is spoiled immediately in the trailer
