That's just a bad camera angle. Most of the attendees are in the bathroom, and not because they all ate the totally safe Taylor Farms provided lettuce. A bunch had to run out to their cars because they forgot their MAGA Hats, and that caused a huge bottleneck at security.

They were with their meetups and not at the convention. That’s why the attendance was so poor.
Would have probably had a better turn out if they had a built in a set Grindr time slot into the schedule.

Unlikely. Democrats show up for mid terms less than Republicans.
It's part of why we're in this position. They let the Republicans take control each midterm of a Democrat president and in Obama's case let the Republicans keep a majority for like 6 years straight.

Since 1946 the president's party has lost seats in the house in 18 of the last 20 mid-term elections. One of the only two exceptions was Bush post-9/11.
If you're the president, regardless of party, you're likely to lose seats in the midterm.
The only way your viewpoint makes sense is if you're so young you've only been politically aware during the Obama/Trump/Biden eras, and have only known one Republican midterm.
