I'm not really following nor trying to follow this story but, if they were off at the time, how is that relevant?
Not like he killed her.

I'm not super familiar with the situation but from what I understand he was abusive, so he might have but we'll never know.

from what I understand the DEA is now involved and there was a report saying he hasn't been cooperative. Also Narcan was found on the mattress but unused.

So if I bring heroin to a sesh and my buddy overdosed, I’m not responsible?

Why would you be responsible? Unless you lied to your buddy and told him it was cocaine when it was heroin you did nothing wrong. Last I checked adults can make their own choices.

Because you provided the heroin.

That said, foreverandadayalone probably has asked the good question: By stating he was there, there is an implication that he was involved with her death.

Being a user and being a dealer are not the same thing. Users: sick, need help. Dealers: selfish, evil, sickos.

The sole exception being weed dealers where it isn’t legal.

Junkies doing junkie things.

Oh? This one was pretty? I guess we must then change our tune and pretend that she was blameless, and merely a victim of everyone else. She clearly had no choice in the matter.
