šļøRIP šļø First Dolly Parton, then Tim Curry. Both 80 years young. I hope no other celebrities of the same age fall prey to The Rule of Three, as Tracy Jordan might say.

I can think of an 80 year old reality TV personality we wouldn't mind losing.

We're all praying

Praying?
"Thou Shall Not Kill"...
Isn't that who you'd be praying to??
11
u/PopEnvironmental1250 16d ago
Well he shouldn't have coveted thy neighbors child.

u/ShuffleRom 16d ago
And who's child?
You seem to be privy to some info, start naming names....

There have been over 25 accusations of sexual misconduct, with victims as young as 12 years old. That's BEFORE the Epstein files come into the conversation.
You can verify this yourself. Welcome to the information age.3

Praying for someone to die isn't equivalent to killing them. That seems reeeeeally obvious.
Also, not everyone is Christian.
And many Christians do actually actively pray for evil to be vanquished.

Death to you....right?

It's ok for the President to celebrate other's death, but not us, the people?

Read a history book. Plenty of evil leaders in history; what's so bad about literal evil going away? Oh wait, you probably agree with that evil, support it, and that makes you an evil mofo too.

Our current president has shown us through his tweets that it is okay. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Guys, I can think of PLENTY and I'm not ready to endure that kind of heart break (i.e. Cher).

Please let it not be Linda Rondstadt. Losing Dolly was hard enough, but Linda will do me in. I shouldnāt even put it out in the universe.

Hayden Panettiere was first, then Frank Beard. So thatās 4.

Unless itās Donald Trump. Heās also 80, also in apparent ill health. He absolutely does not fit the ābelovedā category, but he qualifies for the rest.

Shelley Faberes, the teen idol of the 60s and she played Christine on the TV show Coach just died at 82.

u/popoPitifulme 16d ago
I just looked up what other celebrities are 80. How morbid was that!
1
u/Ok-Seaworthiness2302 16d ago
Any hints at who might be next?
1
u/popoPitifulme 16d ago
No but it was pretty trippy learning which are 80. A lot of the pics were from when they were at their prime.

We lost actress Shelly Fabares, age 82 last week. I thought of Tim Curry as being the third one lost.

Had no idea. Iāve heard it phrased that way plenty of times and thought it sounded charming and respectful, but I can see now how somebody could find it irritating in the way you have. Iāll refrain from using it unless I know the person on the receiving end will appreciate it.

Does Bob Barker count as 3?
I mean I know he was controversial, but he was a celebrity.

u/AmputeeHandModel 16d ago
Ugh everyone needs to stop with this rule of three nonsense. If you look for threes, you're gonna find threes. Frank Beard of ZZ Top died. Does that not count? What about Hayden?
