Unfortunately a lot of kids are really neglectful friends. It's not even that they're trying to be neglectful. They go out, they do things they know they shouldn't (drugs, drinking) someone goes missing and they all hope REALLY HARD that it's OK for way too long. An adult knows that 8 hours missing is a long time. An adult knows that a whole day is basically an unacceptable amount of time. But kids hope their friend just... Hitchhiked back to town.
The police need to do their damn jobs and conduct a proper investigation, but this behavior from the kids is very common and frankly, crosses cultures.

Yeah and I don't know why it has to be racist. Now we have seen a cases where black kid with white friends does end up dying and the shit is very messy and nasty. Those cases are racists but not all of them. Some people are just evil.
27
u/Fourteen14XIV 7d ago
Sure, but there have been a couple of really suspicious supposed suicides of black kids and poliece not investigating, just ruling it as suicide.
0
u/MasterHavik 7d ago
Oh let make my stance clear on that. I'm not saying those cases are racist. I 100% think they are on top of bullet holes being found in Emmett Till memorial. I wish the people down voting took a step back for a second. I'm on their side.
11
u/Jazzlike_Damage793 7d ago
Yah, but this happens all too often and its about race a majority of the time.
Racism is out of control because for 40 + years republicans have been pushing it hard.
-2
u/MasterHavik 7d ago
I am shocked I'm being down voted because I agree with you. I need to pull up the case but there were two white dudes who killed a black dude recently and they look so guilty trying to say they were friends and nothing bad happen just for the edvinence to say otherwise.

Hold up. I'm just a case by case person. For example in the case of that one girl who fell from a balcony with her white friends. I believe racism played a role but on the flip side in the case of Nolan Wells. I find it hard to assign any racism here but I do think he was killed and that his friends were neglectful jackasses who are being very shady. I'm not one of those types. I want to just be objective and look at all the facts and edvinence.

I got that talk man. You think I'm that naive? Especially now? Nah man. I know how bad it is. Trust me I know how to move . Yes it isn't as open outside of the obvious cases of Charlie Kirk and Laura Loomer. But listen if it comes out this was hate crime or these fuckers were racist like Austin Metclaf(granted I got a vibe from that situation was fresh). I'll walk back what I said on the Wells case. The reason I do because we ignore that people are just evil for the sake of being evil. Not every case is going to be like that Muslim guy shooting up a gay nightclub because he hated gay people that much. Not everyone care will be like Dylan where he gleefully shot up a black church because he wanted to start a race war.
3
u/HydraKong 6d ago
Must be nice to have the privilege to be "case by case".
0
u/MasterHavik 6d ago
Yeah it leads to making informed decisions than screaming "racist" or "No it isn't N word follow the law!" You should try it sometimes as you guys refuse to be objective. It's a nasty hivemind.
2
u/Jazzlike_Damage793 7d ago
As a case by case person, you must find it easy to deny systemic
Racism.Let me guess, if you see a black or woman pilot, you have to wonder if they are qualified. Amiright?

Strawman argument. I found what Kirk said to be extremely fucking racist and stupid as hell. Lol! I'm on your side. You need to chill my man. Also I do believe in systemic racism. Who said I didn't?

I am left with what you said above.1

u/NocturnaBride 6d ago
You’re being down voted because history says that these are generally racially motived crimes. Racism doesn’t have to be blatant for it to be racially motivated.
0
u/MasterHavik 6d ago
And I don't disagree with that but not all of these cases are racism. Is that wrong to say? Just because I don't think the Wells case isn't race related doesn't matter I don't think something like a Dylan Roof wasn't race related when it 100% it was. History is history but facts are facts. We don't have enough to say this is race related. We usually have a lot of edvience to support these cases being race related.

37
u/Fourteen14XIV 7d ago edited 7d ago
I dont think its racial division to point out how people and police care less if something happens to a black person.
Edit: also apparently there has been an increase in mysterious supposed suicides of black teens, who never displayed suicidal behavior before, hanging, sometimes miles from their homes. Sure, its theoretically possible, just like its theoretically possible that the kind stranger does indeed have a puppy in their car

-12
u/Glum_Celebration1264 7d ago
That is only your perception.
7
u/Fourteen14XIV 7d ago
Yes, its only my perception based on seeing black people complain about stuff like this. Its also just your perception that this person is purposefully spreading hate or seeing racism where there is none.
-5
u/Glum_Celebration1264 6d ago
One can complain about whatever they please, that doesn't mean it's reality. There was the guy who hung himself recently and the algorithm boosted all the hateful comments and posts saying white people lynched him. Everyone was so sure of themselves. Then the sheriff came out and said there was a video of him carrying the rope he killed himself with right near where it happened. It's not good for society to blame groups of people without evidence, just like this post.
5
u/Fourteen14XIV 6d ago
Sure, but there also are many cases like these that could very much be lynchings that police never bothers to investigate. They dont disappear just cause one of them was false. Also, did the serif offer video as proof, or did he just say it?
I will admit that its difficult to know what is true and that people will make judgement based on their personal experiences and "vibes", since people responsible for figuring it out arent doing their job.
-3
u/Glum_Celebration1264 6d ago
Which case wasn't investigated? I promise you that's not how law enforcement operates. I would assume the sheriff didn't release the video out of respect for the family. What's the benefit for the police lying about a person killing themselves? Do you think that all police departments consisting of racially diverse employees work together to hide murders?
2
u/Fourteen14XIV 6d ago
That is a thing that literally happens every day WTF are you on about? Do you think that something being illegal means it never happens? Or that law enforcement cant be absolute scum? By that logic that one cop didn't kill George Floyd cause, what's the benefit in kneeling on a guys neck for 5 minutes?
9
u/baby_got_yak 7d ago
I really doubt that the blue check person is trying to push racial division so that the masses are easier to control. They’re probably tweeting what they actually think.
4
u/Glum_Celebration1264 7d ago
Most of his posts on threads have little to no engagement. This post was clearly boosted because the topic is divisive.
8
u/TR_Pix 7d ago
Yeah yeah, every time people talk about racism it is actually a psyop to distract the world from the only real problems
Real problems coincidentally being the ones that just so happen to affect you, of course
1
u/Still_Peach568 6d ago
...or it could be a death that's not being properly investigated by the authorities. Because of the difference in skin color between the Promising Young People (tm) and the dead teen.

While I don't know the full context and the some story I read have there are some question that are not answered. My experience: My family members had similar situation claimed by the tweet and picture.
My family member was dating a White girl and her members did not like him. They had a family outing at the lake and drove a boat in the middle lake and went swimming. While him and his girlfriend was still swimming the family drove off and left them in the middle of the lake and had to swim back to shore.
Also my brother had a group of only white friends and most of them would say racist stuff about him when he was not around. He only knew this because his best friend told him about it
So people should not outright dismiss foul play, This crap happens more then people think!
Black people trying to fit into white social group and subject to bullying and ruthless pranks just fit in
3
u/SerAmikVase 6d ago
Then they suck at finding friends. I have no such issues with either of my white friend groups.
Only when our friend group is quite diverse (3 Asians, 2 black people, 1 white dude & a Latino dude) is when my friend group is racist as hell, to each other in good fun.
I hate when people try to use anecdotal experiences to pretend like some bullshit is actually credible.
No actual white friends don't have some negative ulterior motive. The people you/ they hung out with were just shitty people. That's it. There is just some people completely incapable of realizing someone is shitty & more often than not the signs are glaringly obvious.

u/PyroclasticJubilee 6d ago

This is a tweet from the mother.
Nolan Wells was the boy. He travelled to horn island an uninhabited island off the Mississippi/Alabama coast with some friends for the 4th. This is a popular party location. The dispute is whether he planned to stay and meet a girl or return with the friends. His body washed ashore 2 days later.
5
u/MasterHavik 7d ago
This is what I'll say. Don't listen to Twitter for this case. This kid was murdered and we need to find out who. It wasn't a suicide and I find that bullshit. Also don't listen to Officer Tatum as all he is doing is carrying water and give free PR to his white kids to make them look good.
2
u/_Christopher_Crypto 7d ago
Most likely he drowned. Just happen near me to another teen. Swimming with friends one minute, gone the next. Took 72 hrs for divers to find his body. This when they knew exactly where he was when it happened.
1
u/MasterHavik 7d ago
I don't see anything to support a drowning and feel someone killed him as an experienced swimmer doesn't drown like that.
3
u/Not-So-Handsome-Jack 7d ago
Under the influence of something you absolutely do.
1
u/MasterHavik 6d ago
We don't have evidence outside of someone claiming to be his friend has proven to not be a very reliable narrator.
2
u/Not-So-Handsome-Jack 6d ago
It’s purely a response to your claim about drowning not being valid. You didn’t present evidence about how “experienced swimmers don’t drown like that” because that absolutely happens a lot.
Teenagers like this drink when they party. Teenagers have been drowning around bodies of water like this forever. According to the CDC alcohol is involved in up to 70% of deaths tied to water recreation. A classmate of mine in university fell in a river and died like this on a New Year’s party with his friends.
1
u/MasterHavik 6d ago
Yeah this falls apart because we don't know if it was drunk or not. Yeah teens like to underage drink. I mean what would I nee to show you how the idea he drowned doesn't make a lot of sense?
2
u/edisonsavesamerica 6d ago
You see nothing from this suggesting he drowned but you do see here evidence suggesting he was murdered?
1
u/MasterHavik 6d ago
Yes because the best we got from this was someone claiming to be his friend when he isn't exactly his friend.
2
u/edisonsavesamerica 6d ago
Where is that evidence? Sounds like you see what you want to believe. Pictures look like they are all pretty good friends.
1
u/MasterHavik 6d ago
I'm talking about the one that said they were "turning up". He claimed to be friends with Nolan but his mom said they weren't. Pictures are pictures you can be friendly with many people but it is clear Mom had zero idea who this joker is claiming to be his buddy trying to get clout. The reason I believe it is murder is how the body was found and how there was a altercation that happened on the island. Do I think it was his friends? No until proven otherwise but they have been acting very shady. I think at best they're neglectful jackasses but it was someone on the island that took this kid's life.
2
u/edisonsavesamerica 6d ago
Or, he drowned and it wasn’t murder and his friends had nothing to do with it.
1
u/MasterHavik 6d ago
I can't fully say that as I see an obvious case of neglectfulness on their part but you can believe what you want to believe it is clear to me you aren't very good faith here. See ya.
2
u/Balding_Dog 6d ago
I don't see anything to support a drowning
We have his body found face-down in the water, wearing swim trunks, in an area known for strong currents, with an autopsy showing no fatal trauma.
Are you being serious? You see nothign here that supports a drowning?
1
u/MasterHavik 6d ago
Jeez it isn't like someone could grab his neck and stick his head in the water. but yeah he went for a night swim because he wearing swim trunks. Come on man. Also we don't have an autopsy really revealing the cause of death as for some reason his throat is separate. You would be the first one to die if you played Clue. Anyway, I have to head out. You have a good day.
2
u/AnniIlusion 6d ago
You already have made up your mind and all evidence is irrelevant to you. You clearly want this to be some murder racism thing for some reason and its quite odd
It makes way more sense that he was drunk/under the influence of something and drowned than if he was murdered by his friends.
Friends for years and suddenly murder him one random 4th of July. Lol ok. Way more likely they just were idiots. But sure reddit detective go off.
2
u/Pathetian 6d ago
Experienced swimmers are exactly the people who drown, because those are the people who intentionally get into large bodies of water. Intoxicated teens dies all the time engaging in activities they are otherwise extremely skilled at. Have you ever seen the driving skill of people who eventually cause their own fatal car crash? Its often far beyond your average work commuter. Extremely skilled people die dealing with heavy machinery and tools every day, despite familiarity that the average person doesn't have.
Being good at something doesn't mean its now completely harmless no matter what and you can't overextend yourself or make a mistake.
2
u/I3igI3adWolf 6d ago

4
u/AmethystStar9 6d ago
People want this to be a racially motivated homicide so bad and I absolutely do not understand it.
And hey, if it turns out to have been one, then they'll get their vindication, for whatever that's worth.
But in the absence of any real evidence pointing to anything, and looking at the facts that have been established, what I see is a group of young idiots who went out drinking, boating and partying with no meaningful supervision. Perfect set up for one of them to get blackout drunk, get separated from the group, stumble off to take a piss or talk to a girl they saw, they die by some method of exposure/misadventure, the rest of the group just assumes they're gonna make it home with someone else and doesn't want to talk about the fact that they were being reckless and dangerous while partying on a shitty sand island.

u/kingcalifornia Mister Tea 🍵 6d ago
Based on what?
3
u/xGenocidest 6d ago
Based on teenagers + alcohol + water.
Drowning is much more likely than some random murder between friends. Around 12 people drown every day.
1
u/kingcalifornia Mister Tea 🍵 6d ago
Yeah that’s definitely a possibility. But it is Mississippi, no idea where anyone would ever think of foul play because of race.
3
u/anxiety_elemental_1 6d ago
I could ask you the exact same thing. Why do you immediately jump to foul play when the likelihood of it is so low compared to him getting lost or drowning because of intoxication? What exactly are you trying to imply through (likely false) assumptions?

Is it that hard to believe? Married couples kill each other after years, that couple that went van life and the boyfriend killed his girlfriend and left her in the wild.
What about the girl intentionally driving into a wall at 100mph killing he friends in the car?
May not be the scenario here but people kill those they know and are “friends” with all the time.
Statistically more likely to be murderer by someone you are close with than a stranger .1
u/Primerius 7d ago
That girl with the car was 100% going for a murder-suicide situation. She did not expect to walk away from that. She wanted to kill herself and her boyfriend, the 3rd guy was collateral.
2
u/MaleficentMunkey 6d ago
But it doesn’t change the statement, and it still stands as an example.
Jealously, rage, love, lust.
All reasons behind the killing of friends and loved ones. Suggesting it was simply an accident because of “friends “ is just naive and I’m hoping this person isn’t thinking of becoming a detective.0
u/Character_Score_8505 6d ago
My point isn’t that friends don’t unalive each other, it’s that they don’t turn racist out of the blue. If they were racist they wouldn’t have been friends with him for years. Why is Reddit so low intelligence?

u/TentenChickee 6d ago
Just fyi, Nolan Wells posts notoriously get brigaded by racist people on Reddit. That in itself shows how desperate people are to control the narrative and try to gaslight people into not believing their own eyes. We know facts and statistics, and historically law enforcement has not just been unkind to black people, but they have time and time again participated in the coverup of white on black crime and violence. The “friends” are showing signs of deception and throwing up red flags left and right, meanwhile a handful of racists and bots will insist that anyone who questions their narrative is (insert ad hominem, sometimes a racist one). Nolan’s tragic death is amplifying the need to expose and slowly try to heal our society’s racism.
