Every aspect of Obama's presidency feels like a lost golden age compared to where we are now.Ā  Ā The worst day under Obama was better than the best day under Trump.

Obama: Brokers a deal with Iran where they agree not to develop a nuclear weapon and let us inspect.

Trump: Rips up that deal, that they're fully complying with, without involving our representatives in Congress. Starts bombing civilian infrastructure, elementary schools, etc. Walks back his stated goals and outcomes from this illegal non-congressionally-approved war, until he's left screeching that they "will never develop a nuclear weapon!!"

Obama was an actual statesman, leader, adult, etc. Trump is an especially dangerous combination of evil and stupid.

He is Bibi’s bitch. Mossad has quite the file on Trump’s predilection kids thanks to Epstein. This file makes Trump do anything Bibi wants including the destruction of perceived threat(s) utilizing the military.

u/MilkiestMaestro 18h ago

More of a prostitute, really. He is and always has been for sale to the highest bidder. He'd sell your grandmother in a package deal with his own for a dollar.

2

u/Willthisaccountlas 16h ago

They didn't need a file on him. He has narcissistic personality disorder and the people put him in charge of the military. There was no way he was not going to play the part of using the military to fight a war and be the person making those decisions. We were always going to end up attacking someone.

u/waltzbyear 19h ago

And kidnapping the President of Venezuela, NicolƔs Maduro.

3

u/brontosaurusguy 23h ago

Don't understate his failure.

We had to leave the entire region.Ā  Our bases were evacuated.Ā  We built an alliance with the gulf Coast for decades only to be run out of the region in a month.Ā  They've even reached Jordan last week...Ā  By 2028 USA might be out of the middle east entirely

u/Trump_Russia 1d ago

But they solved woke!! You can say the N word again without fear of consequences!! We practically live in paradise now!

George W Bush feels like a lost golden age

3

u/Anxious_Contact_1201 1d ago

And he sucked too but compared to trump hes amazingĀ

0

u/Sasquatch1729 8h ago

Bush was worse, far worse.

He collapsed the US economy, which had huge knock on effects for the global economy.

His wars in the middle east led to a lot of death and destruction for years after he left. My country sent a lot of troops to the middle east to support the US through the Bush Jr wars. Many hundreds of thousands of civilians were dead by January 2009, thanks to the violence Bush Jr caused. Trump has done the same with Iran, but not on the same scale.

That said, Trump does have the potential to surpass Bush Jr, and has certainly burned a lot more of the US's goodwill and reputation with the allies than Bush ever did with his Iraq stupidity.

You could argue that a lot of what Trump is doing with respect to ICE, and mass surveillance are bad, but guess when the legal framework was set up for all this. Bush set up DHS, the Patriot Act legalized mass surveillance, his administration set the precedent where people can get put on a no-fly list by a secret court with no right to defend themselves (God forbid if you share the name of someone identified as a terrorist, like David Smith for example, all the Dave Smiths are on the no-fly list).

Bush was no golden age, it only seems that way because a lot of the consequences of his time in office kicked in later. He paved the road that Trump is marching on now.

The nostalgia hits different when the baseline for ā€œnormalā€ keeps getting lower.

Last night Trump was asked by a reporter why he wants to give away over a trillion dollars when we're already over $40 trillion in debt, and he responded "It’s almost a reward for the people having to put up with Biden’s policy."

Our President has Biden Derangement Syndrome.

8

u/Wrong_Chicken_5916 21h ago

I like how we’re still even talking about Biden. I’m shocked we haven’t blamed Biden for the war in Iran.

20

u/shityplumber 1d ago

This guy…. He must be incredibly fatiguing to be around. Hear him talk like he knows everything and anything constantly is the most annoying characteristic ever.

12

u/Armthedillos5 1d ago

Did you know dumb has a B in it? I'm the smartest man on the planet and just learned that.

5

u/ZmanB-Bills 1d ago

The AH literally said that last night. Dementia Donald.

5

u/ChimPhun 1d ago

I bet Natalie is "fatigued" after she deals with him. I just hope she takes birth control, enough of that spawn running around wild.

13

u/DiscoDin0 1d ago

Obama lives rent free in Trump’s mind and it’s honestly hilarious to me. Obama doesn’t think of you at all.

1

u/onlyacynicalman 22h ago

Not that I disagree with you, but this tweet was 14 years ago. It's not good evidence to back your statement.

9

u/DiscoDin0 21h ago

3

u/onlyacynicalman 21h ago

I didn't disagree. I just didn't like the main thread being used as evidence for it. But nice sources!

3

u/DiscoDin0 21h ago

No you right, I didn’t even notice it was from so long ago. I mostly just wanted to roast the Don.
Cheers

3

u/onlyacynicalman 21h ago

Aye, cheers to celebrating on that unknown day in the future. May enemies be vanquished sooner than later.

7

u/Redditedredditer 1d ago

I think we should fire every Politician and replace them with people who actually want to make this country better. But then have all the current politicians join a reality tv show about government.

5

u/The_Nerdiest_Nerd_ 1d ago

The problem is that people who want to make the country better dont want to be politicians

3

u/RheticusLauchen 20h ago

They should draft people to serve in Congress. You might get some that aren't inherently crooked.

2

u/USSMarauder 13h ago

It's been an idea for a while. It's mentioned in one of Arthur C. Clarke's books about a distant colony planet's government

Random lottery to select citizens for a 4 year term in office

  1. Between 18 and 65
  2. Must be in good mental and physical health (You're likely to be alive and well at the end of 4 years
  3. no criminal record
  4. must not want the job

1

u/DirectorLanky466 19h ago

I love that idea šŸ˜‚

Tuesday will be Power Plant Day, and Bridge Day, all wrapped up in one, in Iran. There will be nothing like it!!! Open the Fuckin’ Strait, you crazy bastards, or you’ll be living in Hell - JUST WATCH! Praise be to Allah. President DONALD J. TRUMP - April 5, 2026

Remember when live audiences would gasp and clutch their pearls when a dirty word was uttered by a guest on a talk show and the same people then went and proudly supported this war-mongering paedophile - three times?

From the Vanity Fair article in 1990.

"It was four years ago (1986). Donald and Ivana Trump were seated at opposite ends of their long Sheraton table in Mrs. Marjorie Merriweather Post's former the Mar a Lago dining room. They were posed in imperial style, as if they were a king and queen. They were at the height of their ride, and it was plenty glorious. Trump was seen on the news shows offering his services to negotiate with the Russians. There was talk that he might make a run for president."

The US is a vassal state of Russia. Their leader obeys only Putin and nobody else. He's been a stooge for the Russians since the 1980's. Wake up.

All the Western democracies are still tinkering around the edges while Putin's puppets in other countries seize control.

3

u/MetaCardboard 1d ago

I cannot wait until I no longer have to constantly hear about Trump.

3

u/alexabeams 16h ago

always a tweet. and a poop and a fart.

2

u/Satanicjamnik 1d ago

Someone should do a Trump vs Trump compilation. It would be a trilogy that would put LoTR run time to shame.

2

u/misha_jinx 1d ago

Yeah let’s just pour unlimited free money into senseless wars instead …

2

u/Bobson1729 23h ago

Can we start having a national week of silence once a month where Trump just doesn't speak, or tweet, or show up on camera?

2

u/mrmike16205 1d ago

What will $500.00 do for any working person? That do do will be are putting gas in the car

2

u/Multilnsight 1d ago

It's not $500, it's $5000 if he wins the midterm.

3

u/VirtualValuable7035 1d ago

No hes also offering 500 as a refund from high obamacare costs

1

Barry could destroy America with a Barry0Bombs Crypto right now.

Thank God he's human.

1

u/Trump_Russia 1d ago

Like this dude must have transfered his syphilis ridden brain to other Americans...

I just don't get how we've collectively become stupid enough to believe this absolute liar.

1

u/575_Pilot 1d ago

There's always a twit

1

u/WebguyCanada 1d ago

Trump: "Please embrace my attempt at a socialist handout." /s

1

u/allanlov 1d ago

And says the guy who later spent an entire term trying to buy elections and do voter fraudĀ

1

u/Intrepid_Top_2300 1d ago

Pay me now Trump! I promise on everything you hold sacred, to repay you if you lose.

1

u/whizzbangkid 1d ago

What the actual F is this idiot going on about now??? What does Obama have to do with handing out any money?? Unlike Donald who just opens his lying fat voice hole and breaks federal election law by offering a bribe for voting.

2

u/TearRevolutionary686 1d ago

The Tweet is from 2012.

1

u/whizzbangkid 1d ago

Thank you! With all the crap flying around it's hard to keep track!! Now I'm just embarrassed. Hahaha!!

1

u/kaptpowers 1d ago

A competent media would ask administration officials about this. Let us remember, of course, the frenzy over someone's emails at the NY Times.

https://www.vox.com/2017/12/7/16747712/study-media-2016-election-clintons-emails

1

u/sedativumxnx 1d ago

"Buy elections by promising people unlimited money. Much better!"

1

u/Dabellator 1d ago

"...that's why I will cap my bribes at $5k."

  • Donald "I just pooed my pants" Trump

1

u/SoylentGrunt 23h ago

The absurdism that's a result of the hypocrisy is the point. It's ultimately meant to undermine democracy.

Our Obsession with Hypocrisy Is Making Things Worse. In an era of callouts and gotchas, endlessly hunting out contradictions distorts the problems we’re trying to solve. Our drive to kill hypocrisy breeds more hypocrisy.

https://thereader.mitpress.mit.edu/our-obsession-with-hypocrisy-is-making-things-worse/

1

u/SweetPrism 23h ago

You know you're a successful cult leader when there is actual proof that every single thing you've ever said is hypocritical, and you don't lose any followers. I do not think Trump has ever said one single thing that someone couldn't fact check and debunk, but he's stronger than ever. Howard Dean made a weird noise and it destroyed his entire campaign.

1

u/Omnom_Omnath 22h ago

im going to be very pedantic but last time I checked 5k is not equal to infinity

0

u/Anxious_Drive_9998 8h ago

Nor was Obama going to give over one trillion dollars to the states.

1

u/1Marty123 21h ago

He always broadcasts his intentions. Just like a little boy!

1

u/Grand_Taste_8737 20h ago

Maybe he should try free cell phones or maybe offer to forgive people's debt?

0

u/Anxious_Drive_9998 8h ago

Reagan phones?

1

u/twizzjewink 18h ago

"unlimited free money" -- that's such a weird phrase.

1

u/The_Stupidest_Idiot 18h ago

What ever happened to the Trump criticizes Trump subreddit?

1

u/MystikTrailblazer 16h ago

Every accusation is a confession!

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me three times, I'm MAGA.

1

u/BlueSkyMourning 8h ago

Would we go to prison for telling Mr. Piggy to eff off?

1

u/SnoooSnooo_ 6h ago

"Don't let Obama do it", but I can do it.

Trump is a joke.

On top of this he is calling for his voters to cheat the election. He called other elections fraudulent with zero proof yet is here, directly calling for a fraudulent election.

He is the ultimate joke on America and the World.

1

u/MoonstoneCoreAlumia 2h ago

Says the man trying to bribe voters with money he will never give out. šŸ¤”

1

u/imissher4ever 1d ago

This is what happens when you can’t foretell the future. lol…

1

u/Turckish 1d ago

could 'politicians' think less of us?

0

u/successfullynumb 1d ago

He said don't let Obama do it, not that he couldn't.

-2

u/fixingmedaybyday 1d ago

How many COVID checks did Trump sign? I remember 2 or 3 rounds of stimulus for everyone.

2

u/Agreeable-Camera-382 17h ago

Go ahead and look up what an individual received compared to his friends and their companies.

-4

u/Pristine_Context_429 1d ago edited 1d ago

Hahaha we’re definitely not getting any checks buts it’s kind of funny watching the party of ā€œwe’ll give you free everythingā€ to be upset about this.

4

u/misha_jinx 1d ago

There’s no party of free everything in America. There is nothing free and has never been anything free in America. That’s marketing to divide and conquer poor people while rich are wiping their asses with billion dollar checks.

4

u/Sijols 22h ago

more like the party of "we will use public money on programs that help citizens"

the republicans on the other hand are the party of taking your money and giving it to trump and his friends. that's what you voted for, to make him personally richer and everyone else poorer

3

u/donut_jihad666 21h ago

Imagine being upset that social programs exist.

3

u/Agreeable-Camera-382 17h ago

Do you not know how are tax dollars are spent?
