I want the people who can bring justice to do it in a way that causes the Trump family the most pain and my assumption is that they should wait until Trump and MAGA leave the White House. Stop doing things cause it's just the right thing and do things that exert the maximum pain. While Trump and MAGA are in power they can do things to weaken a NY case. But I could be wrong.

If we all banded together and just boycotted, full force, we have the power to bring companies to their knees. I know that doesn't solve this particular problem but it's just crazy we haven't done it

Annoyingly this article is reaching and drawing false conclusions with a clickbait title. Annoyingly, because there are enough real examples of fraud by the Trump family, that we do not need to create new ones.
For those who didn't read it, it's attempting to equate clear cut examples of financial fraud that happened with crypto companies, such a falsifying balance sheets and defrauding investors to claims made by Don Jr and Eric Trump that the World Liberty Token is decentralised. When in fact the article is claiming, that it's not decentralised because they can arbitrally freeze your tokens and have de facto control over the company.
Those are vastly different examples, with other cases being open and shut and the Trump one being at best murky, and at worst completely made up. Honestly, there are so many god dam problems with that company, that focusing on a decentralised claim is just dumb.

I truly fear that if our justice system doesn't deal with this kind of felonious corruption, we'll just end up with more Luigi's.
It would be tragic if these 2 men (who have so much wealth and power) were to lose it all, and their very lives, at the hands of a Luigi-styled vigilante.
Just seems like they're tempting fate by defrauding other Americans with their crypto schemes. Like, aren't they rich enough?
I hope I'm wrong, but it almost seems like they're asking for it.

One thing few people know is that section 230 is inherently and directly tied to wire fraud:
The very creation of Section 230 was triggered by a stock fraud lawsuit. In the 1995 case Stratton Oakmont, Inc. v. Prodigy Services Co., the corrupt brokerage firm run by Jordan Belfort (the real-life "Wolf of Wall Street") sued an early online bulletin board called Prodigy. An anonymous user had posted on Prodigy accusing Stratton Oakmont of major securities fraud. [1, 3]
Because Prodigy moderated its boards to keep them family-friendly, a court ruled it acted like a "publisher" and could be held liable for the user's defamatory post. Fearing this would force the early internet to stop moderating altogether, Congress passed Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act of 1996 to ensure platforms wouldn't be held liable for user-generated content.
- Modern Lawsuits: Fake Ads & Market Manipulation
Today, Section 230 frequently arises when investors try to sue tech giants for failing to stop stock scams hosted on their platforms.
For example, in a August 2026 ruling by the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, Meta successfully used Section 230 to defeat a lawsuit brought by financial professionals. Scammers had used Facebook and Instagram ads to impersonate these experts and lure victims into WhatsApp groups to execute a fraudulent pump-and-dump penny stock scheme. The court ruled that because the fraudulent content came entirely from third-party scammers, Meta was legally shielded from liability.
Part of the motivation, whether knowingly or in the sense of that phrase, "never let a good disaster/crisis/emergency go to waste", for things like crypto and now the "prediction" markets is because if they can lower the bar far enough and blur the lines enough that makes it all the harder to litigate fairly. Because if you outlaw one, you kind of almost have to outlaw the others, and nobody seriously thinks getting rid of the current way that stock markets and the rest of the financial industry is structured is a good idea, right? That would be crazy... ahem
On a side note, you know what other failed society overwhelmingly relied on legal fictions that had very strange interpretations of the text of the laws, rather than the spirit of the law (ie, fairness and justice)? The fucking Nazis

No more pardons for unity: gloves are off. Letâs convene grand juries and get to work.
Edit: this is a RICO case. It isnât hard. Convene grand juries, gather evidence, indict and work your way up the chain. You just need public servants who actually have the will and courage to see it through.
