He was a famous public speaker, a writer, and also an educator. He has political ambitions too, and if the scandal hadn’t come out, he might have become even the governor of Tokyo especially around the time of Tokyo Paralympics/Olympics.

He is still seeking for some electoral governmental positions by posting these videos to be relevant.  Some may call it pathetic and I would agree, but at least before him, disabled people were untouchables in Japan and he changed the perspective. Even his scandal became the opportunity to talk about their sexuality in public.  That is something.
