Yea. The only thing we can really fault her doctor for is doing it in front of her patient.

I would feel better if doctors didnt pretend to know everything.

Ehh...same sort of.

I'd rather them be confident in their practice but honest when it comes to outlook and new treatments.

But I definitely don't want them to be YouTubeing whatever they're going to do to me in the same room. I'd rather be ignorant of their need of a refresher.

no as a doctor it’s also part of your job to convey a certain sense of professionalism and expertise in order to make your patients feel as comfortable as possible idk what is potentially a really stressful situation

Honestly, cysts don't just pop up acutely. Anyone wasting an ER's time with this instead of calling their doctor or going to urgent care kinda deserves a tiny little spooking, especially if they're the kind of person to film (illegally in most ERs) their doctor to try to shame them online.
