This is why I can’t wait to get out of medicine. You work your ass off to become a doctor only to spend your work days getting yelled at by patients who blame you for our horrible medical system and all of a sudden you’re in a viral online video for doing what is best for your patient or the learner you have tagging along that day. It’s exhausting

She’s filming people in their workplace without their consent, people who are trying to help her no less.

There are two staff watching it - one could be a trainee with a more experienced supervisor, showing them a useful resource. Whatever the case, revising a procedure if needed prior to going in is a safe and very standard practice.

I hope this patient gets the backlash they deserve for this.
