As a nurse, I look stuff up literally all the time. Doctors regularly ask me if something is within my scope and I text charge lol.

Cares get done, everyone is safe. We often do treatments that aren’t standard anywhere else so when I have to do something like “rectal dilation and decompression” no one knows unless they’ve been here for many years. Plus we do a whole bunch of experimental treatments that aren’t available literally anywhere else. Nursing school covers maybe 10% of the things we do on a daily basis.
