Is this even legal? Surely this must be crossing some lines. There is just so much you can say before someone can identify the person. That sounds extremely dangerous.
Considering he was reported as being the only black man on the jury and in it is Massachusetts, he will be doxxed very quickly. Then the crazies will hunt him.
Like I said weeks ago, the defense attorney already won if there's even one woman picked during jury selection. You want women on your jury as a defense attorney (except for rape and domestic violence cases).
Older woman on a jury for rape cases especially if their mothers. Will always see the Rapist as their own son (if he is 30 and under) and the victim as “Hoe” trying to ruin his life. I testified at a trial once and noticed that not a single woman on the jury was under 40. “NOT GUILTY”. The victim’s supporter worker told they were glaring at her and judging her for inviting the rapist into her home… she never consented to sex… defence made sure to make the rapist appear super naive and innocent even got him to cry on the stand. One of the juries (woman) also started weeping. What a fucken joke.
Yeah same experience. Except my guy was in his 50s and victim 15. Because he was wealthy (and her employer) and she was from a poor background, all it took was the defence making up a story that she asked him to buy her a car (to which he said no). the women jurors instantly made their mind up, said "she knew what she was doing. 15 is not young. They know". Like holy fuck these women are psychos...
There is a lot to say about our judicial system but yours seems flawed as hell. Right now there is 1 dude who didn't bow to peer pressure and might get fucked for it in real life if he gets identified.
How much input does a lawyer have on the jury? Can they pick and choose?
There is a screening process (voir dire) by which both the prosecution and the defense can ask the jurors direct questions and use that information to dismiss them until they're down to 12 + alternates.
It’s crazy all these he didn’t follow letter of the law people are the same ones saying this. He was an eligible juror by the letter of the law his past is irrelevant. Just racism.
Imagine being forced by the state, against your will, to participate in a jury trial. You didn't ask for or want this, but under threat of punishment under law, your are forced to participate.
So you fulfill your civic duty, tolerate a seven-week trial despite the disruption to your life, but you happen to disagree with the verdict the other 11 jurors came up with.
They pressure, cajole, shame, and do everything in their power to convince you that they're right and you are wrong. You cause a mistrial because the law dictates there must be 12 unanimous votes and your conscience will not permit you to do so.
As a reward for fulfilling your legally obligated civic duty, your life will now be torn apart by mainstream media, combing though every detail of your life to find dirt on you. Airing all your dirty laundry for the world to see. Because you disagreed.
All because you were forced to participate in something you didn't want to participate in and had the audacity to disagree with everybody else's conclusion
Under these circumstances, who would ever want to be on a jury? The fact that there is a media inquisition to this degree is damaging to the entire concept of an impartial jury trial, and should be condemned if not made illegal entirely.
In my state jurors are public knowledge, it doesn’t make any sense. Had a good friend get death threats from a family for convicting a guy for money laundering/fraud and she had to leave town. I hope this guy is ok…
This whole trial is like a lab created to cause as much outrage as possible. Dead children, big pharma/ssris/overmedication, gender war, politicized prosecution, true crime. And then the cherry on top is now, of course, theres a fucking race element too.
Look into the 2020 case in Ireland of a lady named Deidre morley the 2 cases are disturbingly similar almost as if they were both made to cause outrage and the first was a trial run
THIS IS DISGUSTING! This poor man and his family are now going to be harassed and threatened simply for standing up and doing his sworn duty and believing this wacky bitch murdered her kids.

Society needs to be mad at a man rather than the woman on trial, duh. Good lord, tons of people were saying her (ex)husband should have been on trial instead of her. Being a Black man makes it that much easier for society to blame.
Change a single demographic of Clancy, the whole thing goes completely different.
Add to it, I don’t think jurors should be able to say anything about anything, let alone PROFIT off 3 dead children. All of this is just gross.
I am with you!!!! They shouldn’t be allowed to come out and talk about ANYTHING. Also, if something ends up happening to this man because of this, they should be sued!

In my opinion, it’s business, and business needs money, money comes from advertising, and ads need viewership. Nothing creates viewership as effectively as controversy.

They keep behaving this way and being this absolutely insane, I’d say they aren’t out of the woods yet. These women on the jury, and that one dude, are embarrassments to humanity.
The idea that the fact that this one juror was black is something you have to “sit with for a second” like his ethnicity somehow makes his decision shocking is something goddamn nonsensical I don’t even know what to make of it. Not sure how his identity has anything at all to do with his verdict.
Think of it like rock, paper, scissors, or how the elements work in Pokémon, but instead, it’s men, women, blacks, gays. They threw down women and thought the other side threw down men, but they really threw down black.
Like someone using a Zoroark in Pokemon. You think you are fighting against a Normal type Snorlax but it turns out you were actually fighting a Dark type
It is funny but also sad to see all these people be surprised that the holdout was a black man and scramble to come up with excuses that make both him and Lindsay victims. These people have no concept of the individual and thing of everything in terms of groups and group dynamics, to them someone who is black should side with women.
How on earth can they go on TV describing other jurors and effectively doxing them, yesterday we had age, gender and race, now this man has been identified by name, all without consequence to either these women or the media?
It sounds to me like it was only the 11-1 being widely reported after they browbeat everyone else on the jury into agreeing with them. It was actually a much wider split than that but must have been hell in the jury room with some simply shouting others down. Yet, the hold out was the problem?
I think it should be a bench trial in future, you’re never going to get a group of people dispassionate and level-headed enough to consider the merits of this case, especially after the circus it’s been turned into.
Love seeing that toolbag white guy say he was distrurbed about the guy in question doing a strangling motion with the water bottle or whatever, but the guy wasn't disturbed about a woman strangling three of her kids? Jesus. This shouldn't even be a damn debate.

They needed the prosecution to give the Matthew McConaughey speech from the end of A Time to Kill. But instead of "now imagine that she's white" say "now imagine she was a man."
Every juror who has spoken to the media has only done so for their own financial gain.
The kids were 8 months, 3yrs, and 5yrs old. They keep getting buried under all the media hype.
Take a step back. Think plainly; a mom killed her 3 kids.
3 kids are dead and it was a huge media trial. Through all this, no media outlet has focused on the dead kids. I wanna know about the kids. What cartoons did they like? How helpful was the 5yr old with the others?
They're dead. Their mom killed them. They're dead.
Keep it simple...an adult human killed three very young children. No matter the mental health issue, three children are dead and none of them had a first day in kindergarten. No one, for any reason, should get a pass or support for that.
Let me tell you something. I am a fat, white, middle aged man. I am completely on that juror's side. I don't care what explanation you give me, I don't care who gives it to me. If you think I am gonna listen to this woman admit she killed her children and do anything besides try to convict her for life you're insane.

My god these women jurors are just shit human beings. I hate this whole trial and everyone involved that supports no consequences for that horrible woman. What the fuck is wrong with these people? She admitted to doing it. Its going to be unpopular to say this, but we really need to rid of the insanity defense at least for murder. Jurors chasing their 15 minutes of fame doing the tv circuits and planning books most likely. Absolutely disgusting. May as well have trials in a big top tent and officially declare it a circus.
There should be a 5-10 yr pause on all this for trials. Especially in on going cases. You've essentially got an ex- juror trying to establish the narrative on shit that's on going. Nothing about this is moral and it damn well should be criminal too.

People have been speculating publicly and making judgements for weeks. A fair trial is now impossible. It baffles me how the US allows people to affect an ongoing criminal process.
This could not happen in Australia. Our state and federal legislation (such as Section 68B of the Jury Act 1977 (NSW) and Section 78 of the Juries Act 2000 (VIC)) make it a criminal offence for a current or former juror to wilfully disclose statements, opinions, arguments, or votes cast during deliberations.
