Two Minnesota solar farms planted native grasses and wildflowers beneath their panels. Five years later, flowering plant species had increased sevenfold, native bee numbers more than 20 fold and total insect numbers had tripled, while more bees were also visiting nearby soybean fields.

Solar is great and has a place in our energy portfolio in the right locations.

We have had proposals to clear cut 60-70 acres of FOREST for solar projects here in New York. One of the dumbest things I have ever heard.

Some solar projects are just a way for companies to farm subsidies.

That's just horseshit. Give an example. Go ahead. I've been doing solar utility for 15 years. Please enlighten me.

I can't give an example, and he's horseshit on his statement the way it's said, with that we had one solar project stop it's approval process because it wasn't worth it because the loss of one of the subsidies.

With that, it was one project, there is at least 1 new solar project (as in commercial level one) every single quarter in my county. My township has 2 or 3 rooftop projects being permitted every single month. And that's with less subsidies being available (in fact some of the projects have none).
