Basically follower count doesn’t seem to go down when you unfollow someone and this is where the help page said to report bugs

I select one community whose posts I want visible on my profile. The setting saves and works correctly, but every 5–6 days Reddit automatically resets it to “Hide all content”.

This has happened repeatedly. I then have to manually enable the community again.

Expected behavior: My selected community should remain visible until I change the setting myself.

I am unable to log in to my Reddit account through the Reddit Android app on my device.

The same account works successfully when I log in through a web browser and on another phone. My login credentials are correct, and the account itself is working.

The problem only occurs on the Reddit Android app on my device. I have already tried reinstalling the app, restarting my phone, and resetting my password, but the issue still persists.

When submitting a comment (in community I mod), Reddit sometimes shows “Something went wrong.” If I retry, both attempts are actually published, resulting in duplicate comments.

In r/redditrequest, the Community Request & Resource Hub Explore communities panel does not fit the screen.

The interface is horizontally clipped, making the community search/filter controls difficult to use.

Description:

My account is suddenly unable to receive new chat requests. My Chat and Messaging Permissions are set to Everyone, but other Reddit users are telling me they cannot message me.

I tested this by viewing my profile from another Reddit account. There is no Chat / Start Chat button available on my profile.

I normally receive chat requests regularly. I had existing chats and approximately 16 Additional Requests, but I have received no new requests for several days, even though I continue to post normally.

I also noticed that several of my Reddit settings had unexpectedly changed around the same time. I did not change them myself. I changed them back, including Chat Requests → Everyone, but the chat problem remains.

Steps to reproduce:

Open my profile from another Reddit account.

Look at my profile.

There is no option to start a chat with me.

On my own account, Chat Requests is set to Everyone.

Expected result:

Other users should be able to initiate a chat with me because my setting is Everyone.

Actual result:

Other users cannot initiate a chat, and the Chat/Start Chat button does not appear on my profile.

This issue happens on every version of reddit that supports this feature to my knowledge, but I could be wrong

I’ve never had this issue before but I’ve got rate limited x2 tonight and all I do is scroll. I’ve been using Reddit for years and never had this issue before.

Whatever was done in this new update has caused viewing and responding to replies or posts in a thread to be very difficult and wonky at least on my S22 Android device. The "chat" window and embedded video windows overlay chat boxes or even the replies in threads themselves. It's kind if a total visual mess...

I am not able to send dm's to a majority of profiles I see. Even though these a profiles that are open to messaging (Android and desktop)

I cannot see my history since 2 weeks now, i tried to uninstall, update and nothing, i cannot see it on my iphone.
How it can be solved?

it disappears whenever "why was I recommended this?" shows up in the options, I still want to block them but I don't want to view the post and go to their account.

If there’s one thing I find annoying when switching from accessing Reddit on my PC to using the app, it’s having to see every notification I already checked on the PC pop up in my face again on my phone.

I don’t know if this is a bug or a setting I missed—since I’m new to the platform—so could someone please let me know?

There are a few saved posts and comments that I am unable to save. For the posts, when I click on them it says ‘sorry try again later’ and when I try to remove the comments it won’t even let me click on them. I think the issue has arisen because the OPs have deleted their accounts. I have tried to sort this for weeks but I’ve had no luck. I’ve even tried deleting the app but nothing has worked.

Or, was this ever different? Because if I don't activate browser notifications, I don't know when something new arrives in something I interacted with or posted because the notifications in the bell in the top right corner aren't working in real time, that is, when someone comments on something I posted or when a subreddit I follow has something new for me, so I need to press F5 and refresh the site so that the number of unread notifications appears.

Date and time: September 12, 2026, approximately 20:39–20:43 UTC.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Sign in and open a community’s “Message the moderators” link.

2. In the official message composer, verify the recipient, enter a subject and a message containing the permalink of a post to request moderation review.

3. Once the Send button is enabled, submit the message.

Expected result: A confirmation that the moderation-review request was sent, or a specific explanation of any restriction.

Actual result: The composer stays open and shows “You can't message that user.” The error occurred once for each of four recipients: r/GoFundMeForNewUsers, r/donateorborrow, r/Fundraisers and r/fundraiser. No message ID or delivery confirmation appeared.

The same session can open Reddit and display the signed-in account. Reddit Status showed Modmail and Desktop Web as operational. We have stopped retrying. Please advise whether this is a composer issue or a restriction affecting the account, and which official process should be followed.

How do I stop this? I mark everything as not interested but it keeps showing up. I do not give two shits about all the negative posts that it keeps surfacing. I just want to browse Reddit.

I already have a for me tab. It’s called the communities i follow. How do I get rid of this secondary bullshit that makes phone scrolling obnoxious?
