Hi everyone, this is Dave and that's my collection so far. I love graphic novels, especially sci-fi and "indie" stuff from Image Comics and Dark Horse.

I'm also the founder of www.nerdbeast.eu, an European store for comics, graphic novels and manga imported from the USA.

Here’s my entire omnibus and paperback collection after years of collecting :) Recently I saw someone organize their shelf chronologically, instead of separating the formats so I decided to give it a try. Was wondering which version you guys find more aesthetic/appealing :)

This week I put on display my collection of worlds finest hardbacks.Anytime I find one of these at my local comic shop, I always grab it an absolutely love him.I think I might have all of them.I need to do more research to figure out how many there are

Just wanted to share for anyone who was in the same boat as me. I had a 30 inch wide Billy bookshelf from ikea before this and was dealing was some sagging and bowing in the shelves after not long of having it and not really having a crazy amount of books. I guess somewhere ikea recommends not putting heavy books on their 30 inch shelves. Who would have thought you can’t put books on a bookshelf? I know some will say embrace the sag, but I don’t want to risk ruining a collection I care about and have put a lot of money into because my shelf collapsed.

Anyway I made the switch yesterday to two 15 inch shelves and it made a huge difference. Much more sturdy and no sagging at all. Also I prefer this to my old set up. Marvel on the left shelf and DC on the right. Plenty of room to expand here and grow my collection too.

Hey everyone! First post here and excited to join the community.

I started reading and buying comic books in the early 90s when my dad would take me to the LCS on the weekends. Think Maximum Carnage, ASM Clone Wars, that sort of stuff. Also a little Batman.

I got back into reading and collecting in the last 2 years after helping my mom clean her house out and finding some of my old stuff in the attic.

It started with reading some old Spider-Man stuff, dipping my toes back in the pool so-to-speak. Pretty soon I was researching (and admittedly a little help from AI) to start building a Marvel Roadmap focusing on Spider-Man, The Avengers (Steve, Tony, and the rest), and Mutants/X-Men.

My Roadmap keeps growing as I build more and more backstory to provide the context and history as I push through storylines, runs, and into larger crossover events etc... It's been a real blast.

Some favorites include The Child Within and the whole Osborn/Parker legacy. Brubaker Captain America, Bendis (!!!) and New Avengers. When I learned that Bendis AND Bagley had done YEARS of Ultimate Spider-Man together I was shook.

I have modern books I read weekly/monthly as well. I'm currently working through the 6160 Ultimate Universe to provide the origin box context for Zdarsky Cap/Armageddon leading into the new Avengers era. Of course, that means I'll have to go back and ready through Earth 1610 Ultimate Universe to build up The Maker and Miles. That's sort of how my roadmap has worked.
