I was in first grade and they made us stay inside for an 'air pollution day'
Of course there was a rumor running around about what was really going on and then I guess our teachers realized this so they told us what happened. They had us draw the twin towers for them. I lived in Texas and had no clue that these buildings even existed at that point.
And then I went home and watched it on the news with my dad who was so shocked that he was still in his underwear
