I was in fifth grade in Queens NY that day. I remember teachers screaming and crying. The day was over and we were told to read. Parents taking kids out one by one with names being called over the speakers. I was excited when mines was called till I say my mother covered in Tower dust crying.
I was in fourth grade at the time in long island. I remember watching in class. My teachers father and brother worked as firefighters in the city. They had to put my class with another teacher since she was distraught. Being a kid I don't know what happened but I think of her pretty often.
