How attempted murder? How does the victim know the person doesn't have a knife. He needed to cancel any attempts at him getting back up to continue his threats.

Because it’s very obvious the perceived threat was neutralized after the first lunch or two. However instead the individual continued throwing full force punches at someone obviously knocked and incapacitated out on the ground. When he got hit with the first punch, I thought he was getting what he deserved. But after more than 10 full force e punches to the head, it goes from self defense to the dude just trying to kill him. It wasn’t self defense at that point, just a violent attack, and no normal person would have such an aggressive reaction to somebody lunging at them. I hope he gets arrested for that

I dont go around lunging at people. This is because when looking at the video, I feel the first hit or two that actually knocked him out were justified, and so that would be a plausible outcome if you tried to prank someone like that. If he stopped right there, it would’ve been a funny video and I would’ve viewed the prankster as getting what he had coming. However, beyond those two punches, trying to beat someone to death for that is not a justified reaction, which is why I am in no way on the dude throwing the punches’ side. He’s clearly a violent person and should be punished for his actions
