I mean fromscratchbaker is Irsh but the OP video is like pure middle America or Southern Ontatio.

Edit: she's probably from New York state and maybe NYC - not a NYC stereotypical accent. Just based on FB content.

Maybe it was the style of video she was doing where she was talking to herself but the video cut as if it was two people talking together. Or their voice is similar? Idk but as soon as i saw this video it made me think of fromscratchbaker and had to go find her. I havent heard her in a long time. How are they similar? Idk i feel like they are

Yeah you are correct on the back and forth delivery. In the case of baker it is her vs. Customers and in this video it is Claudia vs. Her own inner voice BUT she normally does back and forth Pharmacy Tech and Customer on her TikTok.

I was gonna say im in the midwest in the US and thats not a familiar accent but i love it. I've never been to NY or Canada but hearing this I would never guess either of those places

I had a hard time picking my words. Definitely didn't mean Midwest by middle America so much as by "average middle class". 100% agree it is not Midwest which is it's own whole thing. It reminds me of the accent I hear around Windsor, Kincardine, London Ontario though I think it is less an actual regional accent so much as her specific way of speakingm
