Now that you mention it I've complimented multiple white guys on their mustaches in the last year. They might be mediocre but their waxed and curled staches were definitely not mediocre.

I think a lot of dudes, as they get older, grow a beard to cover up that tiny double chin that randomly shows up first as soon as you become just an ounce overweight. Also just years of staring at the mirror every morning incessantly shaving has got to wear on you

You’re not wrong. The sideburns, facial hair, pube trims, back of neck hair, trimming armpit hair, and nose and ear hair gets old AF when you age, and it makes the bathroom filthy. I ain’t doing that all the time.

Ive noticed that too! I’ve been able to grow both, full since I was 17. So I’ve rocked bare face, mustache, goatee, and full beard various ways since 2007. But now most of my friends who got the dad bod have facial hair now. You may be on to something. I figured it was bc no one could grow it fully until late 20’s into our 30’s lmao

Soo...it's not male makeup? Makeup can make women and men A LOT more attractive than they otherwise would have been. I don't think it'd be the multibillion dollar industry that it is if it didn't have the capacity to be extremely effective. Also, bearded guy btw.

The main reason I have one is because the skin underneath is extremely sensitive and I also get really really really bad cold sores.
It's so much easier to just grow it out and trim when it gets too long.

I think the reply from the dude is even more cringe. He wrote a whole song to defend his mustache when she's right. The whole purpose of having one is because you like the way you look with one. It's 2026 we don't need facial hair to stay warm. It's purely superficial and his feelings were hurt that she made fun of his choice.
