It always impresses me when dogs climb

Right? How did it know to do that? Does this hurt the gate? The dogs ribs look questionable going through that space. Also he just....falls?
Very smart dumb dog

I had a smart dumb dog that climbed up a tree and slipped and fell between a split trunk where he got wedged around his middle. I had to go borrow my neighbors ladder to get him down... twice. -.-

I have a pretty smart dog who figured out she could climb an area of my chain link fence. Unfortunately for her, the fence was not done professionally and there was a loose section. When she got to the top her rear foot got stuck in the loose wire and she ended up hanging upside down for an undetermined amount of time. She surprisingly came out unscathed, my brother found her and got her loose. She just hates her feet being touched now. And doesnt climb the fence anymore.

Did you get her foot checked by a vet? Maybe she damaged something, if she fell and had all her weight pulling on it.

I feel incredibly dumb because that honestly never occurred to me. I kept a close eye on it and doctored it, and she never limped on it. Shes had several vet checkups over the years and they’ve never noticed anything.

That dog was scared as shit until he was in safety. Pure flight or fight. He didnt care that it hurt. He was getting away, my first thought was that he was smart haha

My livestock dog climbed through barb wire that was 4 feet above the ground to go galavant until we built a taller fence for her. Sometimes they also just decide to go explore. They just didn't know a fence is meant to stop them lol

I have a border collie and she gave birth to some pups that were half border collie half generalized mutt. I kept one of the puppies and she climbs fences and grates. I kept having to track down how she was getting out and then escape proofing it because she kept taking herself out for walks around the neighborhood.

If animals aren't your bros, I don't want you in my life

I don’t know that this is a stray dog. Looks like it belongs to that house and sneaks out the gate sometimes. Not that that is important, either way bro is fine by me

Sis is for generally positive things. Bro is for confusion or disappointment

No. Most people partake in animal exploitation. So most would then not be in our life.
