I feel like the whole console scene needs to refocus on upping quantity and variety of games (not just Sony). I feel like both Sony and Xbox are so focused on these crazy expensive AAA take forever to develop games that they've hollowed out their platforms.
Like what happened to the days where you got a new AA entry in your favorite genre every year? That was way more fun.
The JRPG scene has really improved in recent years because they finally caught on to this aspect. Why haven't other genres?
Agree. I also feel like they need to focus on the hardware of consoles too. I have a 4080 super but would hop on the xbox more if it hit 120 fps natively. Even the 120 fps titles currently don't feel that great on on console
