do you think they would just fry him again because he would still be in the chair?

There were many instances where the executions were repeated at a later date because they failed.

Rope snapping during hanging was so much of a problem, that the British justice system had to specify sentence wording to be "death by hanging" or "hang until death" instead of just "hanging" after being challenged by a survivor claiming that he served his sentence.

Did the survivor successfully avoid being hung again?

Wasn't there something similar with someone who died temporarily in the hospital and tried to say his life sentance was over?

Most often when Mario dies he does not respawn in the same spot. I guess they could put a checkpoint flag in the chair.

Latter is most likely true if they knew how his abilities worked

Everyone knows Mario is cool as fuck. But who knows what he's thinking? Who knows why he crushes turtles? And why do we think about him as fondly as we think of the mystical (nonexistent?) Dr Pepper? Perchance. I believe it was Kant who said "Experience without theory is blind, but theory without experience is mere intellectual play." Mario exhibits experience by crushing turts all day, but he exhibits theory by stating "Lets-a go!" Keep it up, baby! When Mario leaves his place of safety to stomp a turt, he knows that he may Die. And yet, for a man who can purchase lives with money, a life becomes a mere store of value. A tax that can be paid for, much as a rich man feels any law with a fine is a price. We think of Mario as a hero, but he is simply a one percenter of a more privileged variety. The lifekind. Perchance.

Should actually be x01 lives since when you live your last life it goes down to x00 remaining lives

u/Stusheep_real 1h ago

Not in every game

I can’t think of any off the top of my head but I know some games treat x01 as your last life

The question is what did Mario do to be put on death row? And where is Luigi?

u/Stusheep_real 1h ago

He already had an extra life, why does he need a second one?
