No income tax and resident payments were the two biggest reasons everyone I served with that also served in Alaska made that their state of domicile.

People who consider themselves rugged and adventurous, after years of being pawns, want to be more independent and yet keep their ties with other veterans. Makes sense.

Who's got the most, though? I feel like I can't throw a rock without hitting a veteran here in Arizona.
