It scares me how vast the catacombs are, and how easy it is to get lost in there

Amazing to think they got the bones down there but there must be certain access points that are closed off now that would have made it easier I would assume.

people really need a warning about bones in catacombs?

Yeah I did the normal tour and there's a shit ton of bones. Thousands. Walls made out of skulls. You don't need to go to a "secret" area to see bones.

Shouldn't people going down there wear gas masks or something to filter the air?

It's a tourist attraction that you can visit, those bones are hundreds of years old.

The public experience is mind boggling, and well worth taking. You certainly see many chambers like this, walls of femers with decorative sculls inserted. Behind the walls are bones as far as the light can reveal.

I find this both very interesting and soooo scary. Are there more videos like that? Need more content like this.

When I went down there (not this particular place. No bones in our section) 30 years ago, there was way less graffiti. It was for a LARP and we did meet random people but nothing nefarious. I remember one dude playing guitar walking all alone with a portable amp, and some punks that were really chill (we invited them to our fondue. Yes we had a fondue down there).
Scariest part was stumbling into a room full of people chanting with candles in hooded robes, and not being sure they were part of the game, lol (they were)

LOL - what’s literally what you see when you visit the catacombs, was this sponsored by a tourism agency?
