There's a good chance he was dropping one in the bottom picture. Poor parents / whoever had to change that diaper.

Isn't "here comes the airplane!" something parents do when handfeeding their little kids eith a spoon, to get them to eat?
Kid thought the towers get fed

It's said people were cheering in the streets. I didn't believe it... until now.

Dumb baby doesn't even realize that this will trigger a drastic reduction in civil rights. Stupid baby.

Man. The juxtaposition of a happy, carefree child in front of the collapse is crazy
Edit: that's also how old my boys are for the 25th anniversary

Honestly I just laughed at it because of how absurd it is. And then I felt bad.

I had a similar thought when I asked my mom where she was on that day. She said she was making food for me. Then I started thinking about the horrors and having this innocent lil baby to take care of during it all and I got sad

In fairness, It played all day on every channel. Everyone was numb and at some point you had to concentrate on your own family. The backdrop was just an unfortunate part of photo.

We all had our TVs on all day long that day. We ate in front of them and did everything in front of them. It was the first time in my lifetime that there was a 24 hour news cycle that most of us were aware of. We were expecting war at any time.

For the next couple weeks little Timmy's parents just seemed a little sadder when they had to say "Here comes the airplane" to get him to eat

I’m wondering the same thing lol. Like why pose the baby in front of the terrorist attack on the tv?

I was doing the same. Exact. Thing. I’m also a February baby! As I heard it from my mom I was “learning to smile”.

I can’t believe a baby was ever this politically unaware or so self-involved as to totally ignore world events. Man, that baby is like in a bubble of his own wants and needs. Bad baby.

Where did it all go wrong, zephyruf?
Zephyruf: Well I don't want to blame it all on 9/11, but it certainly didn't help.

I was about 6 and remember watching it. I didn't know what was going on so when they played the video of the plane hitting I remember saying something like " wow this movie is so cool" just to get yelled at 😅

Wait, did you, with your hand, present to your parents a plane hitting the second tower? Also this is hilarious
