what are they supposed to do about Hezbollah launching rockets into Israel and displacing over a million people?
Hezbollah was supposed to disarm a long time ago as part of a UN agreement. Which is why the UN was there in the first place, to make sure it was done. Not only did that not happen, just they started firing rockets into Israel on Oct 7th.
But you just want them to ignore them. Lebanese military could get off its ass and do something. UN could do something. Even ask Israel for help getting rid of Hezbollah

I have nothing against Palestine whatsoever, but their unhinged supporters here in the states are a huge disservice to their own cause.

Islamic terror lovers don't disregard 9/11. They support it.
Remember that a few weeks after the October 7th attacks, Tiktok had to ban videos promoting Osama Bin Laden's "Letter to America", the video in which he said "I did 9/11 because America supports Israel", because so many Palestine supporters were sharing it and saying "you know guys, maybe Osama had a point here".

Reminder that on 9/11, Israel spent the day declaring a national day of mourning in solidarity with the United States while Palestine spent the day partying in the streets to celebrate the murderous acts of their fellow Islamic terrorists.

u/Poverty_Shoes 12h ago
Pro-Palestinian protesters gotta read the room and not do this on the 25th anniversary of 9/11. This will legitimately incense racial hatred against Arabs in the USA (which was probably the point now that I think about it for ten seconds).
18
u/YasielPuigsWeed 11h ago
Yeah I don’t really get why absolutely everything ever must be related directly to Palestine
Palestinians didn’t commit 9/11 nor were they punished for 9/11, the situations are entirely unrelated and both sides of this stupid shit need to stop trying to work their agendas into a memorial for innocent people that died

slightly OT but relevant - I live in a small upstate NY town where we have a few Dunkin’s run by a local Palestinian family. Shortly after 9/11, one of the owners of the Dunkin restaurants was chatting about how he was happy and proud of those events. Locals caught him slacking and ended up jumping him pretty severely and he ended up with some serious ailments and disabilities.

You know they don’t actually want what you think they want, right?
They couldn’t care less about racial hatred. For them that’s normal. They did this in order to give a middle finger to America.
That was the intent not to actually protest for Palestine, but to inspire hatred. That’s literally the goal.

I like to maintain the historical idea that if a nation or state can't defend itself and stand on its own, it's doesn't have the right to sovereignty.
ETA: that means Israel, Palestine, Ukraine, South Sudan, and any other place that survives only because of foreign aid.

Honestly at this point I just want America to forget the Middle East is a thing. Basically my entire life I've been hearing about some conflict or drama that somehow becomes our problem; a problem we "have" to pour trillions of dollars into instead of healthcare and education for all Americans.
And it's all for nothing; radical religion has a grip on the entire region and many of the governments are LARPing like it's the 1100s. All fighting over which version of the same invisible magic man in the sky is true. It's complete madness.
Completely withdraw from the Middle East, fast track phasing out oil, cut off the billions in aid to Israel and get them specifically out of our politics.

One side is acting out of retaliation (albeit using excessive force) while the other is acting out of a religious duty to exterminate an entire other religion (Judaism) from the Middle East.
Not hard to figure out which is the side to root for when you tune out the propaganda bots. (hint: it’s not the side with support from neo-Nazi’s and anti-semites).

There are Jewish people who support Palestine and denounce what Israel and its government is doing to the Palestinians. Are those Jewish people also being antisemitic?
Claiming that it is antisemitic to denounce what Netanyahu and his government/army is doing to the Palestinians is just the easy way out. They have moved on from killing Hamas to killing innocent Palestinian CHILDREN. They are simply killing off the kids for the love of the game and their hatred for Palestinians.
People that don’t see that it’s wrong to continue to kill these Palestinian kids are seriously deranged.

Interesting comments. People attempting to align Palestinians as terrorist. I’m sure there’s a big group of Zionist bots in the comment section suggesting that if Palestinians had their way, they would kill every Israeli citizen. But here are some facts.
A survey made by Jewish Media and Communications Center conducted this month (Sept. 2926):
55% of Palestinians want a peaceful solution. Only 13% believe in armed resistance.
47% want a two state solution. 18% want a single Palestinian state
4 generations have lived under Israeli occupation going back to 1967. Most people reading this were born after 1967. Imagine your entire life living at gunpoint and violence.
Israel, Gaza, and the West Bank are about the size of New Jersey.
Gaza itself is the size of Detroit.
Detroit’s population is 650,000
Gaza’s population is 2,100,000. That’s down from 2,200,000 before Israel’s genocide.
Since October 2023 an estimated 32,900 - 38,000 women and children have been killed by Israel in Gaza. That figure does not include Lebanon or the West Bank. *UN Women Report
Even with so much life lost and suppressed Palestines prefer peace and a two state solution.

Osama said he did 9/11 because of Palestine and Palestine celebrated it. If you were born before 2001 and you hear the word Palestine you know what that means - the world headquarters of terrorism. If you were born after 9/11 you generally fall for Osamas propaganda through TikTok.
