wanted to share all of BTAS poster i did so far (the batwoman one was commissioned)

i have always got my eyes on BTAS villain, its really fun to draw them, since all of them have a different unique backstories from each other.

i got a huge inspiration from bruce timm's art style i can't believe his artstyle really changed the way i draw, i feel my drawing has more gestures than before.

Hi I was wondering how the artist colored this piece and what I could do to replicate something similar? Currently I have access to ink, alcohol markers, watercolor(though I need to practice before I use it on something like this), as well as digital coloring.

I think it was originally an ink wash drawing that was scanned and then colored digitally but I’m wondering how do you color over the grey ink without it making the colors muddy? The second question I have is if there’s any way to do this fully traditionally? I do enjoy coloring scanned inks, but it would be nice to have it fully colored in my hands.

I recently purchased the XP-Pen Artist Pro 16. I create comics and graphic novels and found the tablet to be good, but I’m struggling to see how it surpasses my previous iPad Air 13 setup.

The main reason for buying it was to have a stationary desk setup that emphasizes ergonomics. Plus, I wanted to use CSP, which benefits from a larger screen size compared to the iPad.

I’m also interested in 3D modeling characters and backgrounds for reference.

However, I still find myself longing for the simplicity of Procreate. Given my financial situation, I wonder if the upgrade is really worth it in terms of the impact on my creative process.

I can still return the tablet. Do you think a more standard drawing tablet is really worth it, or should I use that money for something else?

I figure that if you were eternally hungry, you might look a little out of sorts. Pen and ink on bristol with a little Photoshop tweaking (I might just change back to linework only)

I work on The Greatest American Hero project as a consultant. This cover is by Rob Prior, credited by AMP Comics as #1A.

The close-up gets more space than the superhero pose. I like that choice: the face gives you someone to care about before the red suit tells you the genre. The two portraits make the ordinary person and the larger-than-life image share the cover.

Batman 493 is my most memorable cover I remember owning from when I was a kid, decided to do a Mashup homage cover with another favorite character spawn. Between working 40 hr and week and 3 kids ive been trying to find the time to get back to drawing more.
