Hey guys, looking to buy a pressure washer soon, not sure what to get lol. need it mainly for driveway and patio since they get pretty dirty, plus siding, and occasionally my car. not doing anything commercial, just regular home stuff, dont wanna spend crazy money either, just something reliable that actually works and doesnt die after a few months.

is electric enough for driveway grime or do i really need gas? also which brands actually last, seen some ppl saying theirs broke after a season and trying to avoid that. is the soap tank thing worth it or just a gimmick? and are any of the newer 2026 models actually worth it over older ones thats been around for years.

if anyone's had one for 2+ years and can tell me how its holding up that would help alot. thanks!

I play a 1925 Conn New Wonder II alto sax and the sound on these things beats the hell out of any modern horn I've played. There have been some ergonomic and mechanical improvements in the past century, but the vintage tone is gigantic and unbeatable in my opinion. They're built to be maintained, and I expect this one to still be honking after I'm gone! Look up the specialized Conn engravings if you want to see a real case of "they don't make em like they used to".

19 year ago, my dad gave this speaker to me for my freshman dorm room.

Three years ago it stopped taking a charge til I jiggled it enough. Last summer I left it outside for like, two weeks.

My current chair is falling apart after 3 years and the foam's flat, gas lift is sinking. Before buying another one, I wanted to ask people who actually track this stuff instead of reviewing it on day one.

Looking for the best gaming chair in terms of:

• Frame that doesn't crack or wobble over time
• Foam that holds up past year 2
• Replaceable parts (casters, gas lift, etc.)
• Warranty that's actually honored

If yours has lasted 5+ years, tell me what it is and how much use it's seen. Trying to break the cycle of replacing chairs every couple years.

I know there is nothing truly rustproof, but I have a Zwilling set where the butter knives get rust. I’ve had to throw some away because it won’t come off. Is there silverware out there that can go into the dishwasher and won’t rust? I’m a parent I’m not going to hand wash and hand dry silverware I have too many other things to worry about. Growing up I never ever saw this issue with the crappy silverware my parents got. Any suggestions?

Found this Sub Zero 690 48" counter depth refrigerator on Marketplace.

It is being pulled out of a full kitchen renovation—the homeowners are replacing everything, so they're not selling the SZ because it's not working well anymore.

Upon inspection, it seemed to be in great condition. Good seals on both the fridge and freezer doors. An audible suction noise is emitted upon opening. No cracks or breaks on the interior drawers or trays. It was plugged in when I viewed—nice and cold.

Weighs 730 pounds—I know that it will be expensive to move (as DIY inclined as I am, I know my limits.) Full gut remodel, so can run new electric if needed. Will probably sister the floor joists beneath it, lol.

For $2k, would you smash or pass this SZ 690?

They're too new of a brand to call it. But I have several polos from Rhoback that I wear multiple times a week. They've been washed and abused hundreds of times over the past few years and color is still sharp, no frayed seams, collar is still firm.

Time will tell but they seem to be worth the high cost charged.

Living room and hallway, no complaints, genuinely low maintenance like I wanted when I bought it. Kitchen's the one room where I still end up doing a manual pass afterward more often than not.

Grease and food splatter just seem to be a different tier of mess than dust and crumbs elsewhere in the house. Anyone with a few years of ownership find the same room-specific gap?

Alaska airlines just smoked my 10 year old travelpro maxlite. I paid $100 for it in 2016 and absolutely got my money's worth.

I want another 20-21 inch carry on bag with wheels, that can take a beating and fit in most airlines overhead. I travel 2-3x a week for work and internationally 2-3x a year. I'm seriously considering a Briggs and riley bag but I like travelpro.

Sick of buying a new one every year cause the battery dies or the brush head clips break. Looking for something that'll actually last, doesn't need to be fancy just needs to work for the long haul. What are you guys still using after 2+ years?

I'm looking for "tupperware"-ish food storage containers to store and reheat leftovers in that satisfy the following requirements:

1) Shatterproof

If they break into sharp fragments when put through a torture test, then I prefer something else. (Don't ask what I'm worried might happen to them; the only answer you're going to get is "better safe than sorry, and I really, really hate cleaning up shards of broken glass.")

2) Microwave safe

I often like to microwave things in the container straight from the fridge to reheat them and then eat them straight from the container so I don't have to make another plate dirty. If I have to transfer food to something else to reheat it, then I'd prefer to just store it in that something else in the first place.

3) Won't degrade in the dishwasher

I'm more willing to compromise on this if I have to, but, so far, a lot of the plastic I've put in the top rack of my dishwasher has eventually developed white flaky/bubbly patches, and a more expensive brand that was supposed to be more durable ended up with something that looks like thin cracks running through the inside (although it still feels smooth to the touch so far). I hate having cookware that can only be washed by hand, so whatever I get is going to end up being washed in the dishwasher and kept even beyond the point where I end up eating bits of the material with my food.

4) Is suitable for storing acidic food in

I don't think this is usually a problem, but pasta in tomato-based sauces is something that often ends up stored as leftovers in my house, so if there's such a thing as a food storage container that reacts badly to tomato sauce, I probably don't want it.

Does what I'm looking for actually exist, or am I better off taking the opposite of the BIFL approach and buying cheapass stuff that needs to be replaced frequently because there isn't anything shatterproof that will survive the abuse I put it through for longer than a year?
