I'm usually kind of critical when it comes to exploration but this is genuinely probably the most fun I've had exploring in this game. The aesthetic is sick and the puzzles felt super fresh. It didn't hold my hand too much and give me 2 paragraphs of tutorials for a mechanic that takes just 15 seconds to actually learn intuitively. It actually rewarded me for checking every shiny corner or talking to NPCs even when there wasn't a quest or marker that leads to them, with actually useful information or quest items rather than just another damn radish. It really encouraged exploration for the sake of exploration and helped a lot with my immersion.
I also surprisingly enjoyed getting lost and aimlessly running around trying to find the right way and making mental maps of this huge place. W Hoyo!
(plus points because the world quest didn't keep interrupting me every 5 minutes while I was exploring it, but this is more of a pet peeve of mine)
