Also, the Saudi, darlings of the US government were directly involved. More than any other nationalities.

8 of 12 of the terrorists involved were Saudi’s and all of them were trained by Saudi’s.

Not that nationality matters anyway. Bin Laden’s relationship to the government was strained at best

It certainly matters more than which religion they practice.

Bin Laden was an Islamist (purportedly) acting in the name of Islam. He wasn't some kind of Saudi nationalist acting to advance Saudi interests. There is no way you can claim his identity as a Saudi was more influential than him being a Muslim. That's just ahistoric.

I never said anything about Bin Laden's identity one way or the other. Nothing in the discussion I was having had anything to do with motivating factors.

I said that the nation that supported the terrorists is a much more important consideration than the religion of said terrorists. Their religion is wholly and completely irrelevant to what happened.

Not really just how much hate you bear in your heart

From the standpoint geopolitics and international terrorism, yes, religion is irrelevant and which nation facilitates said terrorism is more important.

Oh my brain completely skipped over the “than” yes these connections do matter lmfao. In this case Bin Laden was just some guy who got rich in a petro state and his national identity drove his ideology, but he wasn’t a government project or anything like that afaik

Him being a rich Saudi is part of the reason he could do some of the things he did.

You know, a country that the British helped create and that the United States has been in partnership with for decades.

They're Muslims.

KKK are white Christians. What's your point?

Kkk white Christians didn't do 9/11. The religious comparison isn't necessary for the burn. The burn is worse with the religious comparison.

KKK White Christians committed terrorist acts and brutally murdered people.

Should all White Christians be held responsible for those actions?

Abrahamic faith did 9/11. That includes Christians.

The US military and CIA have done much worse than 9/11 many times.

If we're blaming all Muslims then we can also just blame the Christians and the Jews. You all work from the same source material, you all use the same faulty logic to assert your fantasies. You are all equally culpable if all Muslims are culpable.
