A lot of people gets lost and don't know what's going on in these episodes.
These are flashbacks, you can identify them by the black gutters, Fani and Brie are not together anymore.

One Piece does it like this. So do a bunch of other manga. I think this is the first time I’ve seen a webcomic artist do it.

I pretty much only ever read manga and learned it from there, so it was kinda confusing that a lot of people never realized that black gutters means a flashback when all the other gutters in the comic are white :D But then I also used black and colored gutters for my other comics just for the visuals, so I guess one also needs to pay attention to the other issues of the comic.

Ah… I never noticed the gutters. I just thought it was obvious that any comic with Fani in a relationship was a flashback.

My favorite manga is One Piece. It is famous for his good writing in the flashbacks. I'm used to black gutters meaning I'm reading peak, lol

I get that, but isn't this like the sixth flashback about brie being a bad partner? Playing devil's advocate, there's only so many times you can show us the same thing in different ways before it stops adding any meaning to the overall plot

Fani, I say it once again, this is not a tsundere thing, she's actively abusive, and i would argue that tsundere has shade of abuse that unless it's righted, it's just a very toxic relationship, not even an abusive one

I think people just call stuff tsundere that isn’t tsundere at all. The whole idea of tsundere is that they have difficulty expressing their feelings either because of embarrassment, inexperience, or because of some outside expectations of them that complicates their ability to be with the person they desire. Sometimes it’s a combination of those things. They point being is they are genuinely in love and very fond of the person but because of those factors they try to downplay their feelings by being a bit bratty. This isn’t at all what Brie does she is just awful and evil and using Fani shamelessly while actively hating her.

For the male relationship part, I think it can be healthy as long as it was in moderation and they knew when to stop. And made sure they followed your boundaries on what you were cool with.
It gets into toxic territory when they don't follow said boundaries and repeatedly cross them. At least thats how I interpreted it growing up, I've cut out a couple of "friends" due to repeated crossing of said boundaries

You know, I miss Fani's complicated love triangle with the two guys.
Those relationships were not healthy, but at least they weren't toxic. They actually seemed to care about her at least, even if they weren't great matches and didn't want to share (but also weren't willing to leave her over it).

I think you've shown us enough about how toxic Fani's relationship with Brie was. It's not like I don't enjoy seeing her suffer, but it is getting a bit redundant. When are you going to get to the part where Fani begins to learn to stand up for herself?
