Let’s Talk About the Silence
Hey everyone,
r/humor has been feeling a little like a comedy club at 3:00 AM on a Tuesday. It’s a bit too quiet.
We want to bring r/humor back to its former glory
Engagement is down and we're seeing a lot of recycled content and Non-related posts rather than fresh, original humor.
We want to hear from you. How do we make this the first sub you check when you open Reddit?
What do YOU want to see?
Drop a comment below with your thoughts. Tell us what you love, what you hate, and what would make you start posting here again.

When my dgtr was 14 she had a sleep over with 10 friends and we rented Carrie. That's the night they all learned about BJ's. (I forgot about that part)

Not OC(Reposted content) Is this true?
Humor is like skin, the darker it gets the less people like it
Is this 9/11-themed poster insensitive, or does the satire/irony make it acceptable?
The poster shows smiling children, each missing their two front teeth, above the post-9/11 NYC skyline. The joke compares their missing teeth to the missing Twin Towers, with the line: “It’s okay, NYC. We’re just like you too.”
I'm considering using this reconstruction as part of a class presentation about controversial advertising. It’s intended as satire/irony. Do you think it’s insensitive or does the joke work?
People on reddit just replying “whaaat????”
If they just need to amplified their mocking vocabulary. (And fade it possibly in the long run. But this is another discussion and another post.) I would be my cup of tea in the short term. I believe.
