I just wanted to treat myself for my birthday and order something I’ve never had before. Store was listed under a different name selling different food than IHOP. Nowhere did it say it was going to be coming from IHOP. Complete waste of my money.

Update: since people are asking, yes I tried it. The steak on the sandwich is dry and unflavored. There are no onions or toppings on it as advertised. The hot dog bun is stale and there are also no toppings like advertised on it. It’s exactly what I thought it would be when I saw it was from ihop: cheap quality, flavorless, and disappointing.

Also, not everybody has heard of ghost kitchens. Some of us don’t have the luxury of ordering off of these apps like that to ever find out. Yall could show a little understanding for the ignorance. Multiple people are finding out about ghost kitchens from my post. My week has been long enough without the deception of ghost kitchens.

This is the 2nd or 3rd time this has happened since the time I have been living here for the past ~15 years. Originally, I had a truck reverse right into my garage wall, and it damaged the wall pretty severely. I was ordered by my HOA (yes, ik FUCK HOAs) to pay for the repair of the damage MYSELF, which cost $ 7,000+ to repair

EDIT 1: For the people wondering why I still live here in this HOA community, it is because I bought this house in SoCal back in 2012, and it was dirt cheap back then, and I used to live in an apartment complex across the street, so it was super convenient to move out. But now I have paid off the home loan, and my bills are dirt cheap, including the HOA fees. All the other homes in my city/town are $1+ million, so my bills and everything would go up pretty significantly

Was barely moved into a new place when I had to go on a trip for work for 6 weeks. House sitter moved everything I owned aside from furniture out of my closets into boxes in the spare room. [ Edit: to clarify, I had recently moved long distance and was waiting on the rest of my belongings through movers. The work trip was sudden and delayed that. I had a house sitter to care for my plants and animals. He was a friend through work that i had known a couple of months and seemed responsible. I had no other options realistically for the short notice. There are more belongings mainly for the animals that I found moved to the garage. I call this mildly infuriating because I had used those room for storage of several random items, maybe 2 small boxes in the back. I'd be more upset if the rest of my possessions were not being delivered.]

I got stung by a red fire ant yesterday and this is what it looks like 24 hours later.

I always got huge bumps, when I got stung by an mosquito, and I just thought that everyone else just didn't say anything, because mine always hurt itch and burn like crazy for about 10 days. A few weeks ago my 3 year old got stung by a fire ant she cried for 5 minutes and that was it the next day there was a little red dot where she got stung and she didn't even complain anymore. And now my whole foot is swollen and hot and it burns a lot so I guess my body reacts a bit over dramatically to insects bites.

Quitting smoking is the most difficult thing I’ve ever done in my life and YouTube keeps suggesting me videos with smoking in them. Fuck YT.

Edit: This isn’t the first time YT has suggested me such videos. I keep selecting “do not recommend this channel” or “not interested”.

Last Edit: I wasn’t aware that people on the internet were so helpful. Almost everyone tried to help me out and congratulated me on quitting smoking. Thank you all! I know it’s hilarious, and I won’t start smoking again because of a YouTube suggestion in my feed.
