I leave my tampons in a jar in the windowsill for some w decor, forgot that glass=heat in this 34 degree british weather, went to change my tampon and burned my cooch, then had to sit on the toilet blowing a tampon like its soup till the plastic cooled down enough to use.

I usually get 2 to 3 days before switching jeans. I keep blowing out my crouch in the same area. Two levis and one Duluth ballroom jeans

Every month or two, my beard decides to betray and stab me.

This time it's been stuck for a few hours and actually hurts when I fail with tweezers.

I'm all ears if anyone has legit tips on what to try next.

Thanks for the tips everyone! Learned that my tweezers are crap and to buy legit ones, alongside with these balms and child-size syringes for future episodes.

TRIED
-Push and Tweezer: failed (with emasculating pain this time for some reason)
-Medical Tape: failed (but got out 2 other beard splinters I hadn't even notice?)
-Soaking in soap water: failed
-Soaking in epsum salt water: failed
-Acne patch: failed

SUCCESS:
So waiting it overnight and a new pair of tweezers did the trick.
Like some explained, I think the hair had time to move away from the nerve, because digging into it with the new tweezers was absolutely fine today. I can only describe the previous failed attempts as amplified deep rooted nerve pain that make papercuts feel friendly, with decade old tweezers on top of that, and I'm glad that's done with.

Why does somebody think this is OK. Right in front of him is a huge area he could’ve turned around in.

Yes this is stated in my delivery instructions that you are welcome to turn around in the rear of the house where I have a giant concrete roundabout.

Jesus Christ people, the driveway is 9 feet wide which is standard for a 1955. For everybody that says I need to widen my driveway or put in a roundabout, PM me and I’ll send you my Zelle if you wanna pay for it.

Anyone who thinks this man’s behavior is OK is clearly not a homeowner and you probably shouldn’t be.

I’m also an Amazon Flex driver myself and former pizza driver, between the two I have about nine years of delivery driving. I have never done anything even close to this. If you’re not capable of backing up and you’re scared of busy roads you should not be a delivery driver. I have personally dealt with stuff way sketchier than my own driveway and I managed to not turn around in people’s yards.

The mental gymnastics some of you are doing to justify this man’s behavior is unreal and it scares me that you walk among us in this world.

Am I overreacting? Ordered a large pizza for delivery. I thought that was a normal pizza order.

A dentist, a doctor appointment, an echocardiograph, an mri, a meeting with the crown, and fighting a traffic ticket from a year ago, all on the same date.

All randomly assigned to me by 6 different agencies.

I only noticed they were all the same day bc a family member died; I went to book that date off at work for a funeral and they told me I had already booked it off a month ago.

There are plenty of completely open parking spaces right near this, including spots where the truck could back in and let the bed/bumper overhang the grass.

Instead, they backed straight in and left the entire rear end, including hitch, blocking two thirds of the sidewalk.

Anyone with a wheelchair, stroller, walker, or just trying to use the sidewalk now has to maneuver around it and onto the grass.

So many ways to park this truck without blocking the sidewalk. They somehow chose the one way that does.

I’m trying very hard not to make the obvious joke about an inverse relationship between truck size and member size, but this guy is making restraint difficult…

I get back out to my car and realized that they short change me, and go back into the store.

The cashier, who was new, said she realized she didn’t give me the right change back, apologizes, but says that they will have to call their manager to confirm they can give the money back via checking the video footage and call me back tomorrow.

Basically everybody there was a lowest level employee and they were all afraid to give the money back, even as the cashier was like “yes this just happened”.

It honestly felt a little twilight zone.

I got to this store semi often and service is usually outstandingly good- like good enough I go to the store bc of it.

Anyways, not being able to get my 15 bucks back right away was stupid, and reminded me of “permission to jump into hyperdrive? Requesting permission to jump into hyperdrive request form!” type tom foolery.

If this had happened at another store I’d likely be making a similar post about how frustrating it is that shitty management uses min wage employees as a human shield against customers upset by managements shitty policies lol- ie the duality at how you can’t actually get mad at that cashier even if you are emotionally unstable enough to want to, lest you choose to be a bag of shit.

Also tomorrow is a national holiday and the stores will all be closed, so they can’t actually do it tomorrow lol. Just realized that now.

Edit- Jesus fuck guys zero fucking chill. Entertain the following notion; some 16 year old kid getting paid min wage didn’t know what to do and just choked, the place was super busy, I go there enough that I know I’ll get my money back, and I just took the path of least resistance to not needlessly stress out a child lol. Yikes.

My baby was born almost 4 weeks early, requiring a stay in the NICU for almost 7 weeks. Payment plan the hospital offered was ridiculous, something like $900 over 4 months. Well they send you to a third party who has other options And I basically chose the lowest option available, which was like $93 a month for however many years. These show up today. I've been turned over to collections. Never even received my first letter for $93. FML

ETA: I work in pharmacy collections and I'm not stupid to how eobs differ from the verification letter or any of that shit. These are all from GLA collections if anybody wants to look them up. Which is not the third party that the hospital sent me to. I'm sure some of you are familiar with GLA collections.

After 8 hours of driving, suffering through I-95, the DMV, and the PA turnpike, my trailer tire blows right at the last stretch. Been on the side of the road for almost 3 hours waiting for roadside 😑 day is bending me

Why even have this “easier” option if the damn thing never opens?!?!? I’ve been standing here for at least three minutes trying to pull on this thing from every direction imaginable to no avail. I had to resort to the ol butter knife to get this stupid mayo open. I just want a sammy man 😭.
